Hi,

I find this forum very usefull and hope to get some advice from seasoned affiliates.

I hope to become a casino affiliate and am currently planning my casino blog which would include my experiences with various online casino bonuses (5 casinos and one bookie so far) as well as anything else related to online gambling ie. credit cards, online wallets (procedures for account opening), game strategies, casino reviews, news from the industry...

I will probably create a blog at blogger.com and after I get some experience in that I will probably open a website and look into affiliate programs with more depth. Hopefully the blog will be bilingual (english and serbian/croatian). At this point I think I would be able to provide 10 postings with a rate of 1 post in every 4-5 days.

Any help would be deeply appreciated especially if there are online casino blogging guides or personal experiences...

Thanks!

With a new blog, I tend to post a bit faster than that. I would schedule at least 1 post a day for at least 2 weeks. If you cannot do that, then try to do 1 post a day for the first few days and then space them out.

Reason: You want the search engines to get the idea that your site is updated frequently. If you start off slow, the SE's *may* not spider your site as often. Which means that you will have some problems getting content into the engines in a speedy manner.

That's my 2 cents :)

Hi, good to have you here at AGD.

My advice would be to get some cheap hosting and a serbian or croatian domain name and target that market as soon as possible.

I've no idea which casinos and sportsbooks have Serbian or Croatian language options, but you probably do! If I was you, this is where I would focus my attention. The reason being : it will certainly be easier to get some traction in your local area rather than competing with all the other English language gambling websites out there.

I would also suggest you use WordPress for your blog rather than Blogger - it's just better, to be honest.

I would go with something like blogger.com or such which is free. once you have a bunch of material then you can get a domain name and re-use the material to launch it. Just an idea!

Defintely good search engine results are key, as well as good casinos that help you retain players once you get them there. I'm a bit new to alot of this as well, but learning as i go, welcome to the forum anyhow!
