I don't understand the rules!

I am an avid slots player and would willing contribute to your forum in return for a signature link or two below all my posts.
But rule 2 seems to imply that's not on:
    2) You may only post your link once, and on this part of the forum (Back scratching). Anywhere else will be deleted.

    Can you clarify this please?

    KK

Signatures are switched off at the moment (still need to configure the settings for them).
We don't want the forum to become completely spammy which is why there is a separate board where you guys can post up your link and describe your website.

There is a school of thought that Google is going to (or already has) clamp(ed) down on links in signatures anyway, making these virtually null and void. So our thinking is give you one place where you can link to your site properly and also give it the description it deserves.

As we have (hopefully) explained on the forum, we are reachable for other exchanges as well (in fact a few hours ago you should have gotten a PM from me on here!)

I don't use signature links for Google rankings - I use them so people can click on them! ;)

You know this for fact? I was thinking about this the other day, if signatures were harmful. I was going to remove some on another forum to see if anything changed.

I really won't participate in a forum too often that doesn't allow a signature. I figure its a quid pro quo. Of course I have no problem with requiring x amount of posts first. I just simply adjust my time line, some visitors want to post a bunch of non-sense just to get the post count up. I never felt that sense of urgency and before I knew it I made the post count.

Sorry you guys are right. We want to do things the right and honest way but were maybe paranoid and influenced too much by others. Having seen so many forums that delete messages, dont allow sigs, change usernames etc.

I have fixed the signature issue and removed all restrictions on the back scratching board and the sigs.

It's a free for all now.

It does feel better like this, a bit of trust and faith!

when you first start out you set a policy and see how it goes, then make adjustments as necessary.

Ok my advertising of the forum was a complete bust due to a plugin error with the GoogleAnalytics plugin stopping the registration system working. Doh!

Fixed the error now so we are good to go.

(note to anyone else using MyBB, check your plugins, if you are using GoogleAnalytics 1.2.1 then check your registration page!)

Just a quick heads-up; I was browsing your list of casinos to make sure you don't have too many rogues (I wont participate in any site which promotes scummy casinos), and I noticed a couple of little errors...
You have "Novomatic Bonuses (USA ok) - but I'm 99.99% sure USA players can not play at Novo casinos.

You also have Fiz Casino under Betsoft - but they are a Rival casino.

On that subject, personally I think Best Pay are thieving b'stards, and even if they are not - they have a $500 threshold before they will pay you.
My suggestion would be swap them out for a more reputable Rival brand (or two!).

FYI the only "rogue" casinos I found were the William Hill sister casinos who have that appalling rule about progressive winnings. (Will Hills themselves don't have it - but I would not trust their affy program as far as I could throw it!)

I hope you don't mind me giving my honest feedback! ;)

    Hey Roey & KK,

My eyes are getting fuzzy from reading the T&C about the progressive payouts. Are you absolutely sure they are still employing these rules?
I have searched the Eurogrand and the SkyKings T&C just now but didn't see that particular rogue term. It is entirely possible I missed it (will have another good read once my eyes are up to it again).

Edit: I am taking the bull by the horns and trying to get clarification from the william hill chain and from each individual casino.

Well that is very strange - I just went & checked Eurogrand and I can't find the rogue term either.
    I even used Way-Back-Machine as far as 2013 & couldn't find it!

I was certain they did have it - but I can't prove it now.

CasinoMeister still has them listed as "rogue" solely for this reason:

I will let you know what Will Hill says when they respond. I will get in touch with casinomeister with my findings.

They do have something about 10k max withdrawal on their withdrawals page which tou can access via the t&c page.

I want their clarification on that.

Subject: Cashing out a progressive jackpot
    Hi Customer,

Thank you for bringing this up. I have had a fair share read of some of the articles in the past. At the moment I can confirm to you that we do implement such withdrawal restriction (10k per month) withdrawal limit). But in the event a Progressive Jackpot wins by a single player and wins over the set limit, we will of course deal with it isolatedly and open more options and provide assistance to the fullest.

I hope this clear your query, if you have further question please do get back to us.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us. I would love to get you details but like I mentioned we will deal with it isolatedly, you are rather asking me a very subjective question at this time.

We pride ourselves as one established company, and options to different scenarios should be always available.

Hope this satisfy your query, if not please get back to us.

It should be a simple, straight forward answer, to a simple straight forward question.
We will deal with it on a per player account BS; is basically what they're saying.

There is no "option", it's either YES we pay jackpots in FULL or We don't!

Yes it should be a simple yes or no. It is very dissapointing to see them beating around the bush like that.

The only way then to know for sure is to win one and find out! Shame.
