Hello AGD community,

Following the first audit on the NetRefer platform, we had discussions back and forth with the affiliate program and in the end they agreed that the calculations were incorrect in their system. We discovered that their admin fee was calculating at 60% (double what was stated) - They were taking the admin fee before removing the bonus which in effect doubled the admin fee due to the 100% bonus. We have completed the second audit to see what changes have been made in the calculations and as you can see the results are very different from the first audit.

Today we present to you the NEW real revenue share audit report for Affilirise Affiliates.

Again, we made a test deposit at Cazimbo Casino.

Affiliate Reporting Platform: NetRefer

Admin fee figure found in terms and conditions/or on website:
Exact admin fee % is not stated in the affiliate program T&C

““Revenue Commission” is the percentage of Casino Net Gaming payable to you if you choose the Revenue Share payment plan. We shall be entitled to set off any costs related to the processing service provider, any third party license fee, royalties or any other applicable payments to third parties as well as any tax (including without limitation, any applicable gaming tax), including applicable gaming tax, charge, levy, tariff or any other similar mandatory payments levied or charged on gaming turnover”

Test signup and deposit is made from the Country ‘Serbia’.
Test deposit was made on 16th March 2023.

We deposited €20 / 0.000862 BTC via BTC and took a welcome offer of 100%.
Cashier1.jpg

Our balance with the welcome offer was €40.02 and we started playing some slots.

Eventually, we lost all the funds and checked the earnings report:

For the deposit of €20 via BTC the Net Gaming Revenue was €14.01

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 14.01/20= 70.05%.

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g:
  • 25% = 17.51 %
  • 30% = 21.01 %
  • 35% = 24.51 %
  • 40% = 28.02 %
  • 45% = 31.52 %
  • 50% = 35.02 %

Thank you for that. Thats the same numbers they sent out with the newsletter some weeks ago, where they told their Affiliates that they had to rise the costs on Rev Share from 20% to 30%.

It's still shit!

Imagine if you go to bank, they advertise/market/promote 1.5% interest on a term deposit. However, when that interest is paid, you only receive a 1.05% maturity payment.

This advertising X when in fact it's Z, is nothing more than a bare faced lie!

SCAM:
Scams consist of tricky, misleading ads, and or marketing with malicious intent in order to cheat someone.

Being paid anything other than the advertised commision percentage, is a SCAM.

In a few years, nobody will work on pure RS - deals anymore.

All becouse of the greed of some programs. This will also lead to us affiliates having to "come up" with new ways to get different type of fees, beside the RS to overall do any kind of profit.

In general:
I really, really, really miss thouse days when the RS deal cud be 30% - 35% and you actually cud have really good and long-lasting months with great commissions and no problems getting paid do some t&c updates etc.

Have given the benefit of the doubt to unaudited platofrms, most of the time they turn out horrible. This is unfortunately becoming the norm.

I've reffered to these audits a couple of times (thanks! AGD), some were more lenient, and someone claimed they didn't "agree" with them.

The thing is any affiliate worth thier salt doesn't work on bad deals, really its a case of wheter i send the money my site makes to a brand.. not how much they are going to give me, there are limited positions on google so if they want traffic they need to pay a fair $, we also have costs and if they dont pay someone else will

Dear AFG Members,

We would like to address some concerns that have been raised regarding our recent update to our affiliate program's admin fee. On February 1st, we made the decision to increase the fee from 25% to 30%. We communicated this change to our affiliates via our newsletter, ensuring transparency and clear communication throughout the process.

However, we regret to say that when implementing the change with wrong set up. We immediately rectified the situation once it was brought to our attention by performing a new audit and fixing the issue retroactively at the same month. We ensured that all our partners were fully paid and as usual on time.

In light of the current economic climate, we felt it was important to communicate that the increase of 5% to our admin fee was necessary to cover 3rd party costs. We understand that businesses across all sectors are facing financial challenges, and we want to assure our affiliates that we are doing everything we can to operate sustainably while still providing excellent service.

We carefully considered the timing of the increase and we were also mindful of the fact that other affiliate programs were already increased for a higher admin fee, and we wanted to ensure that we were being fair to our affiliates while still being able to cover our own costs.

We would like to express our gratitude to AFG for pointing out this issue and helping us to rectify it promptly. We strive for full transparency and welcome affiliates to try our service.

Thank you for your understanding.

Michael

fact that other affiliate programs were already increased for a higher admin fee

So if Joe blogs jumps off a bridge you will too!

Kudos on the Spin Dr reply. However, it's all dribble.

You want to discuss fact... Fine, lets do just that.
  • Admin fees are a pure scam. I've been in this gig for 23 years, and they never existed before circa 2014. I'm sure operating costs increased every year from 2000, but no Admin Fee was ever charged.
  • Curacao licensed - rephrase sub licensed because there were ONLY X number of full licenses issued; and those who hold those, then issue sub-licensing under their full-license number.
  • Then there is this pearler;
  • Withdrawing monetary funds are processed from 6 AM to 5 PM GMT, Monday-Friday; that would definitely reduce your business costs. BUT instead, you leech another 5% and try to justify it...lol
If you wish to mirror other Curacao Licensees, there are those who DO NOT have an "Admin Fee". They pay the affiliate their commission on 100% of the player loses. So lets not try to BS people here, hey!

At the end of the day programs clamber for affiliates because they deliver players. Without players, well, you get the picture. So instead of paying affiliates what is a fair-deal (aka no admin fee/s), affiliate programs such as AffiliRise decide they need players BUT don't want to pay for them, so they invented the "Admin Fee" as a way pay far less than was fair, but spin in a way to make it seem fair.

Affiliates operate a business too - are you going to cover their operating cost? No, I didn't think so.

I'll stick with Curacao operators and their affiliate programs who DO NOT CHARGE an Admin Fee.

My advice to other affiliates, avoid programs who charge an Admin Fee, it's a pure scam.

EDIT:

The ONLY fair way forward for programs to work ethically with their affiliates is to pay commission on GGR (gross gaming revenue). No Admin Fees or other dubious deductions.

Granted the commission % would be lower BUT whatever the gross is, you know what you'll make. It stops ALL these fake Manager bonuses given at the final hour of the month. It stops all that dodgy crap.
