I'm a new casino affiliate interested in promoting the Bodog brand. However, I'm not too keen on promoting rooms with negative carryover. are these terms negotiable?

It doesnt scare me, I just dont like the higher variance associated with it. There are plenty of excellent programs out there without negative carryover. However, because Bodog are a strong brand and US friendly I wouldn't like to ignore them...

I am sure that the Bodog folks will respond to this :) The post notifies them immediately and they are good people over there.

I would guess that negative carryover is not negotiable unless you are a very large affiliates, but that is just a guess. It never hurts to negotiate your own contract with them - just make sure it is exactly that.... a contract (and signed).

leporello, the bodog affiliate program does have a negative carry-over. From a business perspective we understand that there are pro's and cons to our terms and conditions, but feel that its correct for our business model. With that said, we understand that many affiliates have unique situations and we are always open to discuss anything with current or potential partners. If you want to discuss anything further, please feel free to send me a PM.

I go through a dance with bodog all the time - I get negative, I pull all the ads, I get positive, I put them up again, at nauseum.

I don't normally bother, but I do like the program as a whole, other than the carryover.

This has seriously crimped the revenues we could be generating though.

I have been experiencing this very thing. Good earners - when you are not negative. No fencing available for big winners. They will REMOVE the player from your account completely, putting the burden of being the casino on you the advertiser instead of them the casino.

This is within their rights I suppose as its in the T&Cs, but .... it can really kill the earnings of your existing base.

From my experience Bovada/Bodog runs the most legit and trustworthy affiliate program in the industry. Negative carryover may suck, but if that's what they need to do to make sure the program is a long-term win-win for both the affiliate and themselves than I'm all for it because they have NEVER missed a payment or screwed affiliates. They are as trustworthy as it gets in this industry and I'm not saying that to kiss their ass....it's the TRUTH.

Bettingpartners is a worth while affiliate program that allow US players. The aff managers are ALWAYS in touch with their affiliates, keeping them posted of promotions, sending articles and other information. They pay on time and have some good brands to promote. Of course this is all in MHO, but I stand by this group!
