Hi all,

Its that time of the month for me (im a guy) so far so good, afew new depositors and payments are looking good. I hate checking stats but its almost like the rush of gambling yourself, i like when people win that means they will be back but this month i hope know one plays anymore, nail biting time.:emoticon-0184-tmi:

You can reduce all that stress by doing what I do: I never check my stats mid-month - I always wait until after the month has ended.
That way I only get pleasant surprises and never any unpleasant ones at all! ;)

That's some willpower you have there!

Oh man, I bet you never shook the presents when they were under the tree at christmas!

I tend to check my bigger programs first thing in the morning - made easier thanks to the IA multi-checking thing. And once a week I do a full check - this is primarily to make sure everythings going ok. If a links stopped working (such as it did with one site for me last month), I'd rather know about it sooner rather than later.

Anyway, good luck roey - hope the month ends on a prosperous note!

haha, i sure as hell did, and I check most of my programs once a day at least. When I first started making money about 2 years ago I pretty much kept the page open with my finger on the refresh button.

As you grow to having regular players in a variety of programs, as well as steady deposits and build up a savings it gets less intense.

Keep in mind that some months you can go from 10k to $0 on the last day, and save for those. Once you have a savings built up, it just turns into a really fun numbers game.

Nope - I was a good boy... and I still am! ;)

I don't use any sort of stats checker - I do mine manually. 70-odd programs I work with - takes pretty much a full day to check them all.
So if I checked mine every day I would never be able to do ANYTHING else!

checking them can be stressful

Current Balance: $-3,703.43
in the last 48 hours:
first it was a $9.96k win, then it went to $6.8k earlier today and I though great,
then it went back to something like a $9.8K. win later on, and I'm like wtf, checking just now its up to a $12k+ win.

Still got a week left to go, a lot can happen.

Nice, I didnt even know programs like StatsRemote even existed. I may look into it, I must admit I do spend (/ waste) a lot of time checking stats!

Same as Dave said + one thing: Time is money, Information is power!
Adjust things all month long.

I probably get beat at 3 programs a month in the last week, its always been that way for me.

One thing that relieves the stress for me is using the wagershare model with a few programs, earnings can only go up :)

last night when I checked this player had won over $28K

now s/he appears to have lost it all back if its not some stats glitch. that's too bad they didn't cash it out.

Previous Day: $-16,044.53
Current Day: $30,910.20

I check my stats throughout the day with StatsRemote. $299 per year is well worth it for me -- time is money! ;D

I can't even imagine living without StatsRemote, seriously.

Just the other day it saved me over $400 when a program removed a player. I wouldn't have noticed except I have StatsRemote checking all programs every 8 hours and I noticed a -$400 difference with 1 program, so I logged in to that program and checked the reports - no negative income, a player had simply disappeared.

So I waited a few days to see what would happen, the player remained missing - finally I contacted the program and they denied all knowledge but simultaneously the player magically re-appeared :) There's no way I would have noticed without the useful 'Difference' column in StatsRemote.

Do you want to share the name of the program please ?

Thanks!

I can't write it publicly because I do like this program and I make good money with them, usually they're reliable... and I'm hoping to win an iPad in their current promotion so I'm not willing to risk retribution by naming them ;)

I can say they're already in the Predatory section of this forum due to retroactively changing T&C. I will tell anyone the name by PM if they're interested...
