Hello AGD community,

Today we present you the real revenue share audit report for MuchoVegas Affiliates.
They have 1 casino brand: MuchoVegas Casino.

We deposited USD 25 and took the welcome bonus: 100% up to €/$ 100.

We started playing some slot games:

Slot6-end.png

Eventually, we lost all the funds and checked the statistics:

We could see that for the deposit of USD 25 (which is EUR 21.95), the Net Revenue was EUR 11.06.

Our commission should be 45% of the Net Revenue which is EUR 4.98, as shown in the statistics.

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 11.06/21.95 = 50.39%, which is not a very good result!

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g.:
  • 25% = 12.60 %
  • 30% = 15.12 %
  • 35% = 17.64 %
  • 40% = 20.15 %
  • 45% = 22.67 %

Shame you could not stop at your high point $350 ;)
Another dissapointing result, but I wonder if it is mainly to do with the bonus taken. Be interested to see if without the bonus

Be interested to see if without the bonus

And that's the BIG question, one which seems to hold the answer, more often than not.

Most bonuses given have some type of Admin fee attached. I accept that. However, what I don't accept, and what seems to take place is... it seems more and more casinos are treating these "bonuses" (deposit or otherwise) as a loss, regardless.

EG - Player drops 50 bucks, receives 50 bonus, and busts out, or anything other than cashing out.

Instead of using Double Entry Bookkeeping, which the 50 bonus given, lost back to casino, squares itself off. Seems to me, and reiterating, more and more casinos are treating bonuses as an actually loss, regardless if it's returned to them.
  • My employee Bob, asks for a $50 loan, I give Bob $50.
  • Next day, Bob returns that $50 to me;
  • Neither Bob nor I are +/- $50
The following week the pay-office, instead of giving Bob his full wages, they deduct $50 from his paycheck.

This example is obviously not fair to Bob, because he already returned the $50. But it would seem this calculation is how some casino programs are treating bonuses etc., etc., given to a player, but then lost back to said casino.

Might not specifically stat it in the stats, but to me its seems clear that a "hidden" fee is at play here, and that points to the bonus(s)... AKA double-dipping comes to mind here.

Edit:
As further proof to this suggestion. As most of you know, I'm a high roller, as such I receive cashback. When I started playing at 32Red Pat (operations director) agreed to pay 15% on losses. However, the calculation of that cashback was: total losses for month, less total bonuses given, the remaining figure is what he would pay 15% cashback on.

That's fine if said bonuses were cashed out (as I said to him) but if their lost back to the casino, then it's not a 100% loss of each bonus. Hence subtracting in these instances, is not Kosher. After 5 emails back and forth, including and example of Double Entry Bookkeeping, the bonuses lost back to the casino were no longer deducted. Exactly as it should be.

My VIP manager at SlotsMillion tried the stunt on me a few weeks back. By all means deduct the Amin Fee for giving a bonus. However, if a bonus is given then return to casino, you can't claim this as a 100% loss, and in turn deducted it from my overall losses. To do that is just double-dipping.
