Mr Green casino links in the UK are redirecting to their sportsbook, something about non-compliance of the bonus offer but hard to get more info from the affiliate manager.

They asked to update our t&c's so it reflects the sportsbook offer, but we aren't actually a sports site, we're a casino site! So had to just remove the links completely for now. Anyone got any more info on this? Seems a bit radical to completely change where everyone's links are pointing.

Only if you're using one of the bonus links. Non bonus links work fine.

They must be in trouble with UKGC (or received a warning about not having complaint bonuses) for them to be redirecting to sportsbook.

"URGENT REQUEST

Due to recent changes in compliance, UK affiliates must pause all Mr Green UK Casino and Live Casino promotions for the UK immediately. UK affiliates must remove all materials promoting these products in the UK such as banners, text links, pop ups, social posts and any other marketing materials for the UK. Mr Green UK Sports are still available to promote.

Therefore, we have replaced all Mr Green Casino and Live Casino banners with Sportsbook banners. We kindly ask that if you see any Casino or Live Casino banners still on your site, to let your Account Manager know. We are working hard to resolve this issue and will be sure to let you know once you are able to promote Mr Green UK Casino and Live Casino once again."

Don't think I've been contact about this but will check. Probably in trouble because they aren't actually very good with communicating bonus changes or indeed updating banners and/or landing pages to have the correct bonus info

Still not heard anything more about this. I meant to ask them about it at LAC - they had a big stand there - but didn't get around to it. I imagine everyone was asking them the same thing for two days...

Hi guys. Yes, we've also had to remove them from the UK completely for now, until further notice at least...they didn't provide a lot of details, but it looks like they're in trouble a bit. I'm sure they'll fix it though

Casumo have just done the same thing, even worse actually in that they're saying that new conversions, any new conversions, will no longer be credited:

"Dear Casumo Partner,

In light of an ongoing improvement process being carried out by our organisation, which includes the introduction of new compliance measures and improved automation, we are asking for your immediate cooperation in pausing all advertising and promotion of Casumo casino and sportsbook products in the UK market.

Kindly note that this instruction applies to all marketing efforts with immediate effect, including but not limited to banners, pop-ups, social media adverts, hyperlinks, etc. We will honour a grace period through 16:00hrs GMT on Monday, 24th February 2020 after which time new conversions will no longer be remunerated."

They did receive that huge fine from the UKGC before...I assume it's happened again. Sad really, considering how the national lottery is being widely and loosely advertised, without any care as to age limits and other precautions

Oh my days so they lost 113 out of their 120 top players...

Can't quite see from the ruling why they would need affiliates to remove all hyperlinks - this was about high rollers and money laundering.. hopefully they will roll this back soon.
