.me domains - worthwhile investment or waste of money?

Last year, I picked up a few .me domains during the .me frenzy. I haven't developed them yet, and I'm wondering if I should even bother.

Any thoughts?

Can a .me site rank well outside of Montenegro?

I don't know the answer to this... but why wouldn't they? I see all sorts of different domain TLD's in the SERPS. There is a .ws domains in the (top 10) SERPS for keywords 'online casinos'.

I would think it would work just fine.

I think that it's not a problem. I think that there is value in it there are keywords in the domain.

Some domain name extensions take a bit more work to rank than others, that's all.
