I am looking to buy an AU website:

Website must have:
- some traffic
- unique content
- WP with workable back-end

Let me know if you have something up for sale.

I have onlineaussiepokies.com, which I put up for sale a few months back. From 2008 - 2014 or there a bouts it was setup as a Google Blogger. But eventually it had run its course, and I closed it down.

Wayback Machine:

Now, it's the domain only. However, it's aged for almost 10 years. The asking price is $5,000. Which frankly, is a pretty good deal for what it is.

Let me know if your interested.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your reply. For now, I'm looking for a website with some content. Not necessairly affiliate links, as I understand the situation is difficult if you're living in Australia.

However, will keep it in my, if I do not find any website, as it's a very nice domain

It's actually really frustrating tbh. I had to literally close down all my .au domains. And, the one I kept live, redirected that to a .nz. It's GEO IP blocking Australia.

But it gets even worse, while I'm unable to use a .au, or for that matter any TLD to promote off shores casinos etc to Aussies, there are Trademark holders still using their .au domains to promote casinos to Aussies. The IGA was a joke in 2001 - it's still one now!

I can imagine. It's frustrating and it drives up to the wall if you have to close something you've work hard for during years. Especially if you're willing just the best for players. Reading your posts here, that's the case in my opinion.

If I were living in AU, I don't think I would take the risk. Even not living in AU, I prefer a .com instead of a .AU.

The IGA has one big weapon: the Australian license. It's an interesting market and many brands with big plans don't want to risk their license. In general, it's a trend that public listed company are avoiding grey or black markets more and more.
