Just thought I would touch base on this marketing ploy used by many different brands as of late, I know that some say it is an outside 3rd party marketing source that handles these marketing campaigns but I am always asking these managers where are you obtaining your mailing list to hand over to the marketing company..... To me it is obvious they are using players list that are already active in the casino, we as affiliates send them the players then they are free to send the players snail mail invites to join the other brands. One of my players just told me they got an invite via snail mail to Virtual City I can make all sorts of assumptions here. I know some huge affiliates pay to have cd sent in the mail as well I really hope this is the case here...

Yes they do. Their socalled third party companies send CD's to (some) active and (some) inactive players to get those playing at their (sister) casinos. These campaigns are planned a few times per year I am told.

Casino Rewards also sends bonus promotions of the other casinos / newsletters to players referred by affiliates (with untagged links to others casinos) about 10 times a month, you should be more worried with that particular part of unfair business by Rewardsaffiliates / ITS management.

I've got one CD too and I have never signed up as a player to any of their casinos, so I'm wondering how they handle the lists they got...

not good

in this case I'd define this aff program as rogue,
aff program needs IMHO to make deals with affiliates and support them and that's all.
if they also promote their casinos in other ways that are not by their affiliates, than It'd say that it's a conflict of interests between this program and its affiliates

I just will see how much more my income with this group drops it is getting pretty darn bad considering the amount of casinos they now have. Can't use US being removed as an excuse because we made min 2k a month with Grand Mondial and Casinoshare NON US when the take over happened, Villento 5k and up but now funny as it is we are lucky to clear 1k on a good month... I am hoping they see how pissed affiliates are getting and stop this crazy stuff!
