Is Mr Smith/Harry Casino Getting A UK License?

Anyone know if Mr Smith/Harry Casino is getting a UK license? As it's a UK facing brand I figured they would, but there's no record of any application on the gaming commissions website (nor for any of the betsson group either).

Haven't heard anything either way from them (or AL), so does anyone know what's happening come 1st October with them (eg: applying for a license / staying in but no license / leaving the market?

And yes 99% sure they will get it. It has been confirmed they applied for license.

Even if they havent got it confirmed by 1st October then they are still allowed to run as usual for couple of weeks as per rules.

I can also confirm that all their brands have applied.

From inside info I can say that Betsafe looks the safest bet for getting license 100%. And then rest should also get it Betsson, Casino Euro.

Under what name?
I searched the UKGC site too and could find no trace.
But that doesn't mean they haven't applied - I also searched for another group and found nothing, only to be told they were under a name I'd never heard of before!

Yeah I couldn't find any record either under any name, tried searching for:

Mr Smith
MrSmith
Betsson
BML

Which says to me they haven't applied (unless it is under a different name).

PaaskeUK - can I ask who said they were getting a license, could you find out what name it's under? As far as I'm aware if they haven't applied by now they don't get a continuation license and have to wait for the application to be processed & approved before allowing play after 1st october.

It was from an Affiliate manager I can of course not disclosure name here as this was something which should be kept from the press or not something I think they would want me to post all over the place.

If they have applied you cant be sure to find them ....... I though you already read about this??

And also it is 1st November now so this is gonna take time ZZZzzzzz...

Yeah they just emailed me back to say they have applied for a license... but there's still no record of any application with UKGC, unless it's under a weird name (but they would still need to have the domain on the license).
