I noticed when I logged into my Revenue Giants account that there is a message at the top saying that you now need to send a monthly invoice to get paid. I don't remember getting an email, so just wanted to let everyone know in case some of you may have missed it.

This is the message.

Announcement - Payment due upon receipt of invoice
Hello,

In case you haven't logged into your affiliate account in a while and missed our notification, here's a reminder on what's new.
Please know that we’re making some changes in the payment process.
We need to ask you to please send us an invoice every start of the month.

The template for the invoice doesn’t have to be something complex, please include:
- name/company info
- payment method
- amount

We’re aiming to make this process automatic and you’ll soon have an option to upload the invoice yourself.
Promise to keep you updated along the way. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks in advance!

What a PITA... 99% of programs do not require or need this.

The affiliate manager mentioned (at GPWA) that the process was implemented to "improve (our) communications with affiliates" as well as to ensure there were "no changes in ownership within the affiliate business".

A great way to get affiliates to promote your brands less. Requiring an invoice from affiliates
in order to process their commission payments is just another loop for affiliates to jump through
in order to get paid, because programs are aware that some of their affiliates don't keep up
on their accounts, and then they won't have to pay out to those affiliates. It saves money for
the affiliate program but it causes more hassle for affiliates. So, the obvious answer to this
would be to promote the brands less, or just remove them until they automate payments again.

I like Revenue Giants and have been promoting them for many years now, but sending a monthly invoice is quite inconvenient and doesn't encourage me to give their brands more exposure.
