Was working the other day. Add YouTube videos, I can't get those to embed, no matter what I do.

I've just noticed that the "Image" function does not work. The pop-up asks for the image url but it doesn't place it in the post.

Is it possible that the image is protected from hotlinking? If that's the case, then the image will never display ;)

But not an image from another domain. Tried a Google image as well. Just get short-code and no image.

@AussieDave could you try post a test image?

Are you trying to post an image using a non SSL encrypted URL? If so most browsers will block it from display. Its best to copy and serve on your own domain rather than hotlink if that is the case.

I tried hotlinking from a SSL domain and it worked ok in the comment box but it won't let me post it with an error saying I'm not permitted to post links (even though there is no link in the post).

I managed to post this image (from a non SSL url), using FireFox Quantum (next Gen FF browser).

Code:
<img src="proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dodgyonlinecasinohistory.net%2Fimg%2Fbuffalo-partners-hacker.jpg&amp;hash=c312b797b54988fbc00e0de172c1fec7" class="bbCodeImage LbImage" alt="[&#x200B;IMG]" data-url="http://www.dodgyonlinecasinohistory.net/img/buffalo-partners-hacker.jpg" />

Have also posted images from non SSL using Chrome (always latest version), and those worked here too.

Looks like the forum uses a proxy script to make it load from this domain and avoid mixed content issues then. Oh well, it was just a hunch...
