Do you ever think about how player choose casino where they play, and why they choose it? I checked one of my aff accounts and I see stats: 10 downloads, 2 registrations, 0 deposits. Why do they download software and register but don't want to play?

I thought it's this economy that makes them cautious about spending money. But yesterday I was in local brick-and-mortar casino, and it was full of players. They played slots and roulette like crazy. It's obvious they prefer brick-and-mortar over internet. It's funny because slots payout in land casinos is 80%, and there is no bonuses or comps.

Maybe you should become an online player yourself!
How can you recommend an online casino if you don't even play.
IMHO it's not quite ethical...

If you would play online, you would know the answer of your question:
Do you ever think about how player choose casino where they play, and why they choose it?

But I do play in casinos.
When I choose a casino, I make a good research first. And when I find the right casino I register and play. I make a small deposit at first, and if I'm satisfied I redeposit. If I don't like the casino I look for another one. But I never registered an account and then never played.
So that's why I can't understand why someone bothers to download software, install it, register an account, and then never play. It shows they want to play, but in the end they don't. It doesn't make sense to me.???

How can any affiliate promote online casinos and don't play? it's like any other product. if you promote different types of wine wouldn't you agree you should a least have tasted them all before recommending them to others.most land based casinos do have a comp program like free meals free shows, rooms and gas cards.

I totally understand where you're coming from.
When I first decided to become a "bonus bagger" (for want of a better term) back in 2001, it was the decent bonuses - and nothing else - which I looked for.

10 years later - nothing has changed for me personally.
I still look for decent bonuses (and that is what my websites are dedicated to), and I only download if they're good offers, or (as in the case with Rival casinos) that's the only way to find out what exactly the terms of the bonuses are.

But still I see loads on downloads (according to the casino's stats) with no sign-ups or deposits - why is that?
Just like "how does a woman's mind work?"... we may never know! :p

Are the downloads for a casino that offers 1 hour free play? If so this could be the reason you see more registrations without depositors - players don't need to deposit to play the free play. If they didn't win, they don't need to make a deposit.

Also, if they are free money players this could also be it. What kind of advertising are you doing? Could it be construed as something else? Eg a deposit bonus being shown as a no deposit bonus etc?

Not in my country. The best you can get is $10 match play coupon as a new customer.

I'm aware that people who seek only no deposit bonuses and free play are not the best customers. That's why I advertise casinos with good deposit bonuses.
Of course most of them offer free or practice play too. But it's very disappointing if player after free play never wish to deposit.

FreePlay, Free Hour offers converting bad for us as well,
ONLY if the player wins in this offer, means if they able to transfer winnings by making a deposit some will do so. If they not win in this offer, they might think, ahh I not play here anymore, I am not lucky at this casino.

And many are playing all the free play offers they can find, and have anyways never the intention to ever deposit at an online casino, always wonder why they not then just use the practice play option which many online casinos offer

You also have cases where people just can't deposit, especially in the US. Credit cards are rejected and other methods don't work or are not practical or not trusted...
