January was the first month where we saw some earnings (from 2 programs, AffUtd and Gala). When should we be expecting the payments to arrive in our Skrill account? AffUtd have a bad rep so I want to keep an eye closely on them!

Check their T&C's look for payment dates or check the affiliate payments section here. Not sure you will see Affutd or Gala there lol.

According to their site (under FAQ) Gala:

"Affiliates will be paid within 30 days of the end of the calendar month or 30 days from when the invoice is received. If you have only just reached the minimum pay-out threshold of £50, please allow an extra 30 days for your first payment whilst we get the necessary admin out of the way and set you up with a payment account."

AffUtd FAQ just says "The payment is made at the beginning of the month to the preferred payment account."

If you click the "Affiliate Payments" tab up top on this AGD forum, you can go back previous months and see if anyone entered a payment. For example it says Gala paid out on the 21st last month (via wire) but it gives you a pretty good idea of when they usually process payments.

You could also send your affiliate manager a quick message "Hey, im super excited to have earnings this month, when should I expect payment? I am hoping this is the first of many and look forward a great year with your group" or something.. Use it as an excuse to build a relationship with your affiliate manager..

Heads Up - All affiliate payments maybe be a bit later this month due to LAC (London Affiliate Conference), which ended yesterday (3'rd).

Yep, a lot of this industry is built on trust.. You'll want to have a good working relationship with the aff managers of the programs you promote. Let em know you are here to make money and a serious affiliate, and every now and then you'll may be able to call in a favor if you really need one ;)

Chasing down payments can get tricky if you start working with several programs.. I got my closest aff managers on Skype, and a few in my phone ;)

Yes I am beginning to learn all about the trust issue. Got good relations with some aff managers already whilst other managers and other programs are looking decidedly iffy.

It depends on the definition of chase. Is it late payments or relentless pursuit? Late doesn't bother me too much.

Usually just late.. Keeping all my ducks in a row with on time payments. Not entirely the fault of the casinos always, I move around a lot so they are trying to keep up with me as much as I keep up with them.

Things happen, I also understand that.. A few weeks late now and again is no big deal to me, its been a while since Ive had someone go months without payment.. But on time or early payments, can also get a group rewarded with more exposure.

The lateness due to the shows don't bother me as much as they did years ago. After all at some point it stops becoming the exception and becomes the rule.

Nice, I just always tell everyone internet marketing.. I get websites to the top of Google, mixed with a little web design... Because that really is what I do :)
