Hello TigerLair and welcome to AGD. There sure is a lot of information here, so my advice would be to look around and take in everything you can. If there is a point where you want a specific question answered and you can't find the answer already on here somewhere, then just ask. Everyone here is quite friendly, and no one bites......not too hard anyway :)

Welcome to the Forum! This is a great place to get started.. Reading through some past threads can be really helpful and can give you an idea of what it really takes to find success in this industry. As paulajardine said, most people here are very helpful, so dive in and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!

Hi all, thanks for the kind replies, yes well my tiger can bite sometimes if he gets let out of his cage hahaha, yes i already read a lot on this site, and i don't need anything answered just yet, but if i do, i sure will make sure to post a thread and ask away.

It is a tough market to get into especially this late in the game, but i still think we have a chance, i feel we have made a good mascot, and a nice brand.

The thing i am getting stuck on is getting signups to our forum, but i am sure some will happen, we are trying like crazy to advertise on the net and via social media outlets too, also read loads of stuff about SEO stuff and what not, there is so much to think about and so on, hurts my brain, but hey, im sure if we stick at it, we might just get somewhere. :)

Welcome to the forum. Forums can be a bit trickier to start and there are some folks here that may be able to give advice on that end. The mentor program IS active... I'll ping John to let him know you are interested in the program, I'm sure he will stop by and give you some great advice.

If you need some help getting your forum jumpstarted, check out a service called PostLoop.. Its what I use for one of my forums.. Basically you sign up, give instructions to the type of posts you want at your forum, and real people will start posting for a few cents a post.. It makes it look like you have real legit forum users, and they feed your forum new content daily, so it looks active, in turn attracting others (your real visitors) to join.

$20-$40 goes a long way... Lasts about a month for me, with a good handful of new (real) posts a day.

Hi TigerLair, welcome! I am also pretty new here and had a lot of great help already. The thing I noticed about your website is that there are no title tags. Maybe it is on purpose? Maybe not, but just saying ;-)

Hi, and thanks for the welcome too, and about title tags, our site does have titles, we also use headings too, for all our pages, our site is indexed nearly in google already, we have followed all the SEO rules it said, we still got 24 errors we need to work out, but all the main things are fine, and no mention was found about title tags in the website score searches we did on various websites.

But i will look into it further to make sure. :)

Edit: I just checked and this is what our html says,

you can see we do have a title :)

<title>Tigers Casino Lair</title>
<meta content="All your casino needs" name="Tigers Casino Lair"/>
<meta name="keywords" content="slots bonus,reelon,no deposit casinos,32red no deposit,club gold casino,32red,latest casino bonuses,latestcasinobonuses,online casinos,Tigers Casino Lair,tigerscasinolair,tigerscasinolair.com,tigerscasinolair.biz,tigers-casino-lair.com,t-c-l.biz,tigerscasino,tigerslair,tigers,tigers casino lair bonuses,casino bonuses,casino,no deposit bonuses,poker bonuses,sports bet bonuses,latest bonuses,best casino bonuses,bonuses,tiger,tigers lair,tigers casino lair forum,tigers forum,tigers casino forum,free no deposit bonuses,nodeposit,nodeposit bonuses,exclusive casino bonuses,casino lair,no deposit,nodeposit,exclusive no deposit,exclusive bonuses,exclusive casino bonuses"/>
<meta name="description" content="Tigers Casino Lair is the place to come for all types of casino bonuses, no deposit bonuses, help and support, news and information also we have a forum." />

Thanks again

Sounds interesting - can you specify features like country, demographic etc?... And what's the quality of post like, is it pretty generic?

I might have to give that a shot myself!

Hi, baldidiot, :) awesome name haha,

anyway, we have now ventured into postloop, and just paid for 250 points, and the answer to your question you asked, is yes, you can basically say in the description what you require from posters, and we are in control, we havent had any signups yet, but we only got told about postloop today, but i think it is a good site, i read some stuff about it too.

Good luck, and thanks again to online18casino for recommending postloop :)

They are dead on as far as content... All seem to be native to English and most write very well. I think a lot of peeps I got are actually interested in gambling, so its not bad at all (lots of poker players). You can rate up the ones you like working with, and have the options of only allowing top quality posters to post on your forum (also works for blog comments). You can't limit them by country, but purely for a slow drip of updated (5-15 new posts a day) content, it has worked pretty well so far.
