Has anyone heard anything from Marina or Boomtown Affiliates since her last post here on Dec. 16th?

The casino links do not work.

I also can not get logged into the affiliate program...when trying to log in it gives this error message as does the casino links...

Looks like the Boomtown Affiliate program and the Mission2Game Casino has gone out of business.

Their last posts on Facebook were back in early Dec. 2015!

Does anyone know for sure?

When you click on Andy's banner above you also get that same error message that I posted.

But Boomtown Affiliates are still listed here as "Affiliate Guard Dog Sponsors"

I last Skyped Marina in February.
Just sent another message - let's see if she responds.

I would not be surprised if they've gone down, sad though it is to lose unique softwares, these minor ones are always going to struggle IMO. :(

Just checked the aff program site, and it's online. Never joined here. However clicking the login button, then lost password link, produces fatal errors (similar to what GG posted above). So too does the signup form.

The casino is online, that seems to be functioning.
Not a member and have no intention to signup to test it either. So who knows what that status qou is here! o_O

I was vocal about this aff program from the get go. Can read about that in the AGD Boomtown Welcome Thread.

Briefly though... My biggest concern, their lack of licensing & being less than straight forward in response to these questions. Marina (AM) tried to claim their previously held Curacao gaming license, was still current and valid. That was a load of bollocks. Instead, all roads led back to Costa Rica.

Which as well ALL know (or should) is not a licensing gaming jurisdiction. Instead, the same business license given to a casino, is also issued to the butcher, baker and yes, even the candle-stick-maker

But of course I was seen as being unfair, too harsh and stiring-the-pot!

Well, well, well...

I'll add, I'm a little surprised KK, given your extemely vocal about other affiliates promoting "clip joints", that you seem to have jumped into promoting this casino, so early on. Even though, there were clearly issues with licensing etc., etc... just sayin!

EDIT: I'm not singling you out here KK, sorry if it comes across that way. I'm just little shocked, given the evidence I brought forward, was overlooked. When, as always, my motivation is about protecting players and affiliates alike.

Everyone here is an adult and because of that, we make our own business choices. But what gets me, and frankly I'll never understand this... When I or anyone else points out obvious issues like licensing per se, affs still clamber on board. Yet when the said place goes ass-up, affiliates who signed up then take displeasure in it. Maybe I'm a fool, maybe no one really gives a toss about players and it's just ALL lip service to sound good, IDK... <shaking head>.

Whether a casino is a "clip-joint" or not is a matter of personal opinion. I believe I am only vocal about casinos who treat their players or affiliates very poorly, no matter how big they are or where they are licensed.

Many of the best casinos I list are licensed in Curacao etc.: I realise that this "license" is pretty meaningless - but what counts for me is how they treat their partners & customers. Sometimes the only way to find out for sure is give them a go, and I admit that occasionally I have made the wrong call and had to dump the operator pretty quickly.

Regarding Boomtown specifically, I didn't just jump in blind, but spent some considerable time assessing whether I thought they would be reputable or not, before finally deciding to give them a chance.

Back on topic:
Marina replied to my Skype today that they had system maintenance at the weekend and that everything is now back to normal.
