    Howdy guys,

This late Friday afternoon seems to be a perfect excuse for my attempt to seek wisdom among AGD members regarding an issue I have been dealing with:

Assume for a second that you are an affiliate manager and deal with an affiliate who has been tagging your brands with the worst rating of 1/5, re-publishing info about your brands that is either no longer relevant, if not straight incorrect without taking a minute to double-check on the facts, letting frustrated grumblers kicked out of other major sites voice out their one-sided opinions on his site, etc. though still posting info on your bonuses and promos...

Would you still be in favor of treating him nicely, saying hi and cutting him a check each month, even if it's just a few dozen bucks a month?

Thanks for sharing your opinions coming from the affiliate side of things. Cheers!

No - give him the boot!
Giving a low rating is acceptable if it is based on current FACTS.
But publishing untruths is not acceptable.

That can get back at you, KK :)

Anyway, I agree but I wouldn't. You will just give him a reason to prove how righteous he is in front of his audience. I can just guess who you are talking about, but whoever he is - you shouldn't waste time and focus on important stuff.

As far as T&C go IDK what you can do.. But from a logical point, maybe ask him to remove your links as it doesn't make much sense to promote a program you are trashing.. If he is reasonable maybe you can talk to him and push him to pick a side.. You can promote a casino because you believe it may offer some value to players, or blacklist it.. Usually not both.

The right thing top do would be pay what is owed then notice of account closure, cant just take the guys money, the opinions you say are wrong are one sided are based on your own as the site owner, perhaps he does have a reason? either way it's a lot of headache for a couple of bucks, I probably have an idea who you are talking about too especially when you mentioned outdated info and i have seen some wrong info on certain programs which were undeserving, also things seem to be written in an a way justified by opinions not true facts, .. if he is already pushing out negative comments now that could easily triple,

Agree with previous replies -- give a warning to stop posting outdated and incorrect info, then closure if he doesn't comply -- fast.
