What do you think as most posters are new members the veterans clearly do not like their lets sweep it under the rug attitude when there are valid complaints about their sponsors.

I had some questions about Starpartner shaving commissions with high (50%) non cash incentives deducted from my commission.

Then the GPWA played the hide and seek game with the socalled porsche winner and more compelling denying that Starparter owns the domain Casinouk.com as it is managed by Verpakt their sister company.
Last but not least they found discrepancies regarding untagged players from closed brands formerly referred by affiliates in their myaffiliates database.

I thought are you freaking serious which GPWA code has not been violated by Starparter ?

Thats why I had my account deleted at the GPWA.

I would prefer the CAP forum a thousand times over GPWA these days. GPWA's continuous support of questionable and crooked operators has come to a level of blatancy that is mind boggling. Even in cases that were proven beyond doubt.

I do not feel like adding any content to their forum anymore and have not done so in a very long time.

I also do not feel that GPWA actually addressed (in full) the Star Partner issue. It is entirely too coincidental that on the day the line was drawn in the sand that they just happened to conclude their investigation on that same day.

I think releasing the info of "some affiliates" and "tracking errors" was a stop/loss at best and that the act of Star Partners contacting affiliates behind the scenes is no more than an extension of the sweeping things under the rug approach.

I 100% agree that there are a number of violations and that as long as the sponsor money comes, there's not a real care.

I think they have a different model than AGD, but I do know they try to help affiliates and have done so in the past. Anthony tries pretty hard, IMO. I don't think it always works out, but he tries to help. As far as sponsors - I agree they don't hold them to the code of conduct always.

who were you on there? I did know and forgot. I also am not contributing anything there anymore, sod them. The amount of sponsors not dealing with the hackers and allowed to stay says it all

and for the record the 1 time i did reach out for help from them regarding a sponsor closing accounts they sided with the sponsor and the ignored me when I questioned it

(would love to see an 'off topic' forum here though to make the place more sticky and have something to read/contribute on when I have no affiliate info to offer)

My account at the GPWA is GCG.

I did reach out to Anthony about the above but got no response.

Guess they do not like bad news about their sponsors...

They don't like anyone who stands up against BS, who wont shut up! The public stripping of my private membership, ironically on trumped-up-bs, proved that. No love loss. The GPWA should change their TLD back to .com. They clearly use members as numbers to increase paid sponsorship dollars. Worse, money is placed well above members welfare.

However while I don't support the GPWA, I don't think we should be bagging them here.

If you've got something against the GPWA, go there and voice your disaproval :)

To be fair I did mate, gave them both barrels, others highlighted it to the owners/staff and it still went ignored. Think Rick is still crying about some of my posts now :)

but it's in the past now

I tried to send you a PM but can't, no link to... Anyway that made me laugh, for reasons I don't have to spell out in public, that you'd know...

I think I missed when they stripped you of "private member" status.

Is there a link? I'm not sure what context that was in, but probably matters a lot.

The link must have been put there automatically by the forum software.

If you add hxxp:// BUT don't remove www. the forum automatically sets it as a URL ;)

Hence adding gpwa.org/forum/vista-gaming-no-longer-accepting-uk-customers-228286/p3.html, is the only way around it!

As far as the "gaming license" issue...

It's not the 1'st time this has happened, over there.

Back in 2010 or there abouts, they accepted Platinum Sponsership from a crooked RU mob. And "mob" being the operative word, eg Russian Mafia

Yes wow that looks really bad judgement from their perspective.

Anyways that reinstated my account probably because of this thread or A. happened to read my email.

I find the GPWA can do a lot better without having to sacrifice much sponsor fees.

The sponsor levels should be about authority and best business practice not money but if there is no other way one could add warning signs.
