Hi,

I thought it would be fun to start a discussion about the following.

Today Microgaming released Terminator 2. Last month we had Aliens by NetEnt and there are more themed slots out there like South Park, The Dark Knight (Rises) and The Wizard of Oz.

What would you like to see as a theme, I mean which tv show or movie might work for an online slot. I know there are already a lot of these games in land-based casinos like The Walking Dead and Dirty Dancing. So was just wondering.

I think I would really like a slot that would use Friends as theme and then maybe have 6 different bonus features for each different friend. Ross, find dinosaur bones, Joey, free spins where each girl is a sticky wild. I don't know just making stuff up.

lol wow Friends huh... Haven't seen that show in maybe 10 years? I don't really have a favorite show or anything I would want to see as a slot, but maybe one that just pokes fun of celebrities in general?

Hmmm...good question! Movie based - A Ben Hur slot would be awesome. If you're reading this and work for a slot software company, make it happen!

TV shows: Buffy, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, The Magic Roundabout.

Books: I'm surprised there isn't a Dorian Grey or Great Gatsby slot already, but one based on William Gibson's Neuromancer would be cool too.

Well we've had most of the classics (the last 2, Aliens & Terminator 2 are in my top 5 best movies ever in the history of the universe!), but how about a couple more of my favourite trilogies (+)...

At first I was going to jump in here with Breaking Bad Yes, that's now been said a couple times. However, now that I sit back and think about it..... while the slots themselves can be ultra cool, typically they are re-treads of older slots with new symbols (I'm not a fan of that). And what's worse.... it's DAMN hard to rank these slot names since their shows are so damn popular!!! Ranking sucks for slots that are pulled from names of shows or movies or characters..

The Matrix also seems like it would have already been a slot game. That's a pretty good one from a logical standpoint. A dexter or hanibal slot is also a great idea, yes they are dark but they are sure to appeal to some.

I don't know of ANY ThuderStruck II clones
Loads from TS1, but none from TS2.
Which slots do you think are clones of it?
(Slots like Immortal Romance and The Finer Reels of Life are very similar, but definitely not clones).

Hi KK, I meant those indeed, I know they are somewhat different, but for me they always feel the same. Unlocking bonuses, random wild reels, 243 ways etc. Maybe not exact clones as you mean them, but hope you get what I mean ;-)

Geez its like you're my British doppleganger or something. Anyway...

Back to the Future slot. starting in "present day" 1980s, depending on thing you trigger in the game you go into the god-awful future with the hoverboards and Biff with the sports almanac, and back to the past, first the 50s and then back to the wild west. There is a lot of mileage in that.
