I was wondering if anyone has advice on forums too! I'm very interested in plugging into a forum or creating my own forum on my site - I would love a place where me and my associate gaming buddies can go chat and have a laugh at our wins and losses.

Are there any prebuilt forums that can plugin to another forum like a whitelabel widget?

Or can you get premade forum templates and get an rss fed section to go into a certain topic area?

I'm using wordpress at the moment but I'm always up for any challenges :D
I like to make things work ;D

Easiest with wordpress integration is using bbpress (wordpress forums).

Other free option is phpbb, no idea about integration issues.

bbpress is the forum. (So it's a different install, not a plugin.) It's community driven.

If you are looking for a plugin, consider SimplePress. It's supported and built by 1 developer and is currently a bit ahead of bbpress, but as wordpress promised to revamp the bbpress project expect to switch over time.
