Finding writers to contribute

I have seen a lot of websites recently where they have regular contributors to the site for free. I was just wondering where the best place to look for writers that want to gain experience of writing articles voluntarily. This would mainly be for sports and not specifically casino. I assume someone at college or university would be ideal but need to find these people online.
