Please respond to this thread for any features you want. Yes, this includes features you may miss from the old version :)

I posted this in another thread, but I'ld like to see the link to 'my websites' return under the username. Every little helps!

I will repeat :) It is now in the profile section instead, but I'm going to try to get this added as well.

I have to say, I honestly don't like quite a lot of things about the new forum style.
Obviously the designers didn't want it to be just a "copy" of vBulletin - but different isn't always better.

Things I really don't like about how posts are displayed (so far!):
The font. I just don't like Times New Roman.
The avatars being at the side instead of in a header and with the User Name underneath - not at the side... takes me a while to work out who made the post!
The date of post being right at the bottom, not right at the top. < That's my biggest dislike.
The very feint blue line separating posts, not the nice clear back box around.
My avatar being displayed in the "Reply to Thread" - I keep thinking that section is just another post in the thread!

Maybe I will get used to it in time, maybe not.
Feedback fed!

perfect. that's the kind of feedback I need. I agree with a lot of it as well. It's different and I may change it up. Just have to gauge what is most important to people.

Just noticed something else:
Under each members avatar there is no "Joined date" or "Number of posts made" - so one-one can tell if it is a new member or a well established one.
I personally would like to see this info displayed without having to click on anything.

I have missed this too the 1st days on my forum when we moved to xenforo, but now I am pretty used,
one click on the avatar and the member card pops up with all info you mentioned and more.
You don't have to leave the actual page to see this info if you click on the avatar.

I believe adding all this info under each avatar in thread would make the forums slower again.
Page speed and responsive design matters a lot these days.

I find it very difficult to find any posts that are interesting to me.
I also would like to see a checkbox for the signature links.
Upgrading the old style would be less work for you Andy.

I'm not sure what you mean by checkbox for signature links? Do you mean to either show the signature or not when you post?

Upgrading the old style would not have been less work. It would have been more work, hence having this style ;) The old forums were vBulletin using their style system. These forums are xenForo and use a completely different style system.

I think I got most of these items covered now along with most of the issues in this section of the forum. Still need to work on moving the Date/Time stamp to the top of each thread for KK.

KK - how are you liking the style updates? I blocked off every other post to help differentiate, does that help?

I often write posts but then have second thoughts about whether to post or not and delete them, however it seems I can't delete them.
I don't like that.

Sometimes its my first reaction and by the time I finish writing it I'm calmed down other times I just don't like the way I wrote it.

Let me know if you can do it now.

I replied "this a test" didn't post and then closed the browser, came back to this post and the "this is a test" text was not there.

Would you expect the text to be in there if you did not post it and closed the browser?

no, the way it was before (and how the other forums are still) was I could write the post but instead of clicking the post button simple close the browser. It would then ask me to if I wanted to discard the post.

I guess its still happening so it isn't working the way I'm used to or expect.

So I wrote this post, (crtl c) copied it, closed the AGD browser window in IE8, opened a new tab and used my bookmark to visit AGD, came back to this thread and my post was still there, waiting for me to hit the post button.

I am really confused. The first quote is the way you want it. The second post says it doesn't work that way with this forum. But the third post sounds like it does work the right way.? I must just not be reading it correctly, but I may need someone to explain it to me.
