Dear Xxxxx,

Due to recent regulation in the UK, all brands that are marketed through the Fortune Affiliates Program will no longer be acquiring nor retaining players from this region.

On the 29th of September your UK retained players will be migrated to Spin Casino, our preferred Microgaming partner who is licensing in the UK.

Spin Casino is marketed through the well-knownBetway Partnersaffiliate programme. Your players that choose to play after migration at Spin Casino will be assigned to your Betway Partners account.

Steps to ensure a smooth migration:

  1. Register an account at Betway Partners if you don’t already have one
  2. Send your Fortune Affiliates account manager or xxxxxxx@fortuneaffiliates.com both your Fortune Affiliates and Betway Partners account numbers
From the 29th of September we will no longer accept new UK players at any of the casinos represented by Fortune Affiliates. For this reason we suggest that you direct your UK traffic to Spin Casino from this date onwards.

The Fortune Affiliates team would like to emphasize that our brands have a very strong presence in multiple global markets, and our team of skilled account managers are available to assist and guide you on which regions to focus on.

Here we go again .......... Betway!

I think I will have to stop sending traffic to a large number of Microgaming Casinos.
I definetly do not like the fact that they send our UK players to a program like Betway. They have very bad terms for affiliates.

As I said elsewhere, this chop and changing, is all too much.

It's like watching a re-runs of the 3 Stooges or the Keystone Cops.

With the number of casinos now involved here, and all being from the same entity owned stable. Who have given their casino partners more of a run-around, that actually being upfront. I have to now question whether this was a genuine balls-up or a premeditated plan, to gain a crap load of freely referred players, to Betway and now SpinCasino.co.uk!

Agreed m8 it is a joke - an unsavory, unappetizing dogs breakfast.

I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt BUT in this case, given the groups involved and their longevity in the industry, I can not fathom how programs like these, could make such a balls-up of things. It defies logic!

In which case, least imho, points to these events not being random screw-ups but intentional accidents.

My account was opened in 2003 BUT through a fault of FA, my account got changed to bundling. At 1'st they claimed it wasn't their fault. Then when I proved it was, they claimed they couldn't revert it back. Since I started chewing their ass, my income at FA has dropped from an average of $xx,xxx to $xxx in a bit over 14 months. If the intention was to can my income, to shut me up, that tactic failed because it doesn't work on moi.

FA was a decent program. I trusted them. Neither of these beliefs are true anymore. I thought the same about referback. Sadly, the moment it jumped into bed with Wagershare, meant it was going down the S-bend too!

As I've said before, imo MGS dropped the ball and became complacent on its own EGO fumes. The market, for player choices, is no long MGS or second rate software.

I dare say Digimedia et al are hemorrhaging because of the arrogance of Micogaming. And, these strategic plans, to essentially shaft affiliates, are in the eyes of this 'Cartel', the only means of saving their crumbling empire...

If it was me, I'd be contacting all the affiliates and just be honest. Give us something to strive for, that's real and sincere. Work with this loyal community, to foster and build strength by numbers.

Shafting people by retroactively forcing changes and breaking promises, isn't the way to go!

PS Live by the sword, die by the sword...

Update on the migration, now not happening until next month:

Dear x,

With regards to the email we sent you this week notifying you, that the migration of our client's UK players will take place on Monday the 29th of September.

We are sure that you have seen the recent communication about the regulation being postponed by 30 days. Therefore we will not be migrating on Monday the 29th September, as originally planned.

We will be sending you communication during the course of October notifying you of the new migration date.

Update on the migration, now not happening until next month:

From my understanding the UK high Court, postponed the Gibraltar ruling, giving the judge time to consider his decision, which I believe also postponed to UK Gambling Laws till 2014/10/01.

Apart from the obvious...

What does this now mean with regard to UK players and Digimedia casinos?

Are they back to accepting them as players or are they still redirecting them to SpinCasino/Betway (aka Betway Partners).
