BYE BYE CARBON POKER.

I sure as hell hope a new network springs up for the players by the players. I'm sick of this kind of crap in our industry!

Dear Affiliate Partner,

Effective June 1st, 2015, the ChipSplit Affiliate Program will be closing its doors and will no longer accept new players though the program.

After several years in the online gaming affiliate industry, our partnered brands have decided that the affiliate program model is no longer a viable channel to their marketing plan going forward.

Our partnered brands CarbonPoker, CarbonSports and CarbonCasino will remain fully operational and existing players will not be affected by this closure.

All existing affiliate commissions will continue to be paid out as normal. We will continue to provide full detailed reports on all player activity.

Please remove all CarbonPoker, CarbonSports and CarbonCasino tracking links, content and marketing material by May 31st, 2015 23:59 ET. As of June 1st, 2015, affiliates will no longer receive any credit for new traffic.

On behalf of our partnered brands and the ChipSplit Affiliate Program, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support and dedicated work over the years.

Americas Card Room never converted like Carbon. I don't know why, (market share?) .... who are other affiliate promoting? its time for a new king. I'm really bummed at Amaya and will not promote their brands anymore and now ChipSplit too. I hope your new casino program croaks.

I have a very small poker site.. They where the only ones left on it... I have no idea who I would promote next. Bovada requested that their poker room not to be promoted anymore so....

Is the Carbon Poker brand in trouble since they are doing this? How can it be bad to have players sent to your poker room?

They paid out 40-50% net-rev to affiliates - that's a big slice of the pie.
They are going to try acquiring players without affiliates and see whether it is more profitable.

Maybe it will work? Maybe it won't?
But they are within their rights to try this - as long as they continue to pay affiliates for previous players (which they say that they will).

Poker has just been one big headache after another... We've even started not including poker sections on new sites just because it's not really worth the time these days.

I miss the good old days of US players on the crypto network
