I tried this, but there are a few minor problems with the set up...

The main problem is if you re-visit the webpage with the embedded game in it, instead of the game launching in "fun mode" like it does the first time, you get faced with the standard log-in screen: "Play for Fun" or "Play for Real"
Clicking "Play for Fun" gives just 2 options: Log-in, or Register.
Maybe this is intentional, but I don't like it.

Other lesser problems:
You can't put more than one game on one page - because they all start up with their into movies and sounds playing at the same time!

I had a serious display glitch when I triggered free-spins just as a pop-up inviting me to play for real appeared. (I took a screenshot, but lost it before saving as I got interrupted ). The last image of reels 3, 4 & 5 remained "stuck" on my screen for the duration of the free-spins, but with the "spinning animation" ghosted over the top.

{A bit later on} I went to check the first problem on my wife's laptop - and got an even worse glitch!
Got Roaring Free-Spins and half way through I got a strange pop-up saying I must deposit to carry on.
Seeing as I was in Fun Mode and had a balance of over $3,000, this was more than a little annoying.
I tried everything I could think of to clear it and carry on my game - but nothing worked.

I think Rival need to get their big iron on to these bugs pronto!

Hi,

1. I checked the settings and the casinos were set to 3 hours of free play only. This means that once 3 hours have passed, it will prompt you to log in for Fun or Real. I have changed this now to 1 year across the 5 casinos. Simply clearing the cookies will allow free play to start over (in case a year is not enough : )

2. Unable to have more than 1 game on a page - I am not sure what to do here. I hope Rival have a solution.

3. The glitch with the frozen reels: I am trying to replicate this on my end. I understand how it would happen and will see if there is a fix for this.

4. We're aware of the Lion's Roar Free Play Pop-up. Duwayne escalated this to Rival last week and it went to the games developers to fix.

I will respond once I have more information.

Typically a webmaster will only use one game per page. There are a couple of ways to circumnavigate this. Though your still going to have to write code for it. The only other way is from Rival, who would have to offer some type of free game suite, where this could be plugged into a single page. Though I can't see them doing this, it would be a huge amount of work.

These free games don't operate like MGS where they use a flash based, free casino suite. I think maybe that's what KK is expecting, IDK???

2. Rival have come up with a suggestion whereby you display the names / logos of the games and once they choose one, it opens in a new window. This is a quick fix and not hard to do. We can provide Game Logos via email or the affiliate back-office if you wish to make use of that option.

3 and 4 - Rival advise they are aware of both issues and are working on these. Fortunately, these are not barriers to entry and you could still add the games for content.

As soon as I hear anything more, I will reply.

You can use some simple JavaScript to have the game open in a new popup window. Something like we have done on our new brands (eg: ricardoscasino.net/instant-play).

Simply add this JavaScript to your head tag:

The multiple games/page was not such a big issue anyway - I just created a new page on my site for each slot I wanted to present.

The 3-hour time-out and the display glitches were my biggest concerns; 1 down, two to go!

Something you might want to also add to your header, is a Break Out of Frames script.

When a I ran a site which essential was all free play slots, dodgy webmasters were framing my Microgaming suite into an frame and boxing that in with their own casino banners.
This used my bandwidth and also work... With their banners surrounding the free games.

It's a good idea to add a BOOF script even if your not running free games. It just stops anyone using your work in a frame

For me it somehow doesn't load the free game but brings me to Play for Fun/ Real page. I've deleted cookies but it still does the same. I think it's because it remembers that i have an account at Tropica. I remember that with Rival there is some special way to delete the account cookies. Anyone knows how?

Just to clarify that visitors to your site won't have any issues playing Anonymous Free Play. There is a way to reset your cookies, however we won't publish it in public as it will open the door to abuse.
