Dumping the USA?

For me the UK, Europe, Oceania etc are improving all the time and have been for 2 years now but the USA has virtually died over the last 12 months.

Are all brands tapped out or are they screwing or is it just bad luck? The visitor numbers are there, the clicks are there but the stats for most groups just dropped by 90% year over year whereas everywhere else doubled or tripled?

Anyone else having USA issues? I am half tempted to just whore out my USA pages to somebody who is able to work with the regulated brands. Frustrating.

The USA is a rocky road - no doubt.
In the last 18 months or so we've seen Affiliate Edge (Club World Group), Refilliates & Fast Track all turn to crap...
Now at Kudos (where I was doing OK) a big winner has put a massive NCO on my account & wiped out my earnings for... who knows? 1 year, 2 years? :(

But overall, when I lose something at one place I somehow seem to pick it up at another - and my USA income has remained pretty steady compared to non USA for several years now - if anything it may even have picked up slightly...

You don't seem to be promoting these two:
Casino Extreme (RTG)
Superior Casino (Rival)
They are doing pretty well for me - might be worth trying something new?

I tend to not trust US accepting brands altogether, they just give me a bad feeling. I am still willing to promote them just because I don't want my US traffic to get wasted but still, I don't feel confident working with them. But anyways, haven't had much experience to actually have a real opinion about it.

Thanks KK for the recommendations on those brands. I'll check them out as well.

Thanks for the info KK, will definitely check them out.

I just went through my stats at Deck Media out of interest, click to registration rate for 2016 was about 12% and for 2017 it dropped to 2.5%

Every month in 2016 was round about that figure and every month in 2017 the same. Funnily enough the drop seemed to happen right at the turn of the year....

You will be getting hit by bots sent by servers based in the myriad of cloud-farms based in the USA.
The biggest of which is the Amazon Warehouse Service (AWS) ... literally millions of servers.

They run through a site clicking on every link, inflating totals and click counts - but it's all useless automated traffic ...
(They're searching for steal-able content / harvest-able email addresses).

I block them use .htaccess commands - but it is a LOT of IP addresses.

Feel free to send your US traffic to http://www.goonersguide.com/ if you want ...

Thanks Gooner, but click numbers didn't change overnight, only the reg percentages.

Time to give other casinos some love instead and see if they score better.

Hi Casino-Matt

Thanks for your feedback.

Checking your conversions, 'sign up to deposit' in 2017 is almost 3x better than 2016. So we have improved on converting those that do sign up.

As you say click to sign up has dropped. We have checked this and you have a huge amount of clicks from bots. We have sent this data via email to your email address on file.

Any questions please drop us an email.

Thanks!

I haven't received an email.
Also please sent stts for 2016 as well as I wonder why the moment my rev share went up (end of year) , suddenly there were more bots then?

Hi Casino-Matt

Resent now. Please confirm its arrived and we will send 2016.

Your revenue has nothing to do with conversions. Sign up to new deposit is substantially better in 2017 than 2016. Click to sign up is what dropped and based on the fact that most clicks are bots its very hard to judge the conversions on anything but sign ups to deposit.

Thanks
