How to promote

I had a site, www.casinobonusportals.com (someone took it when i let it expire) but I find it hard to promote. Google, Yahoo and all the major search engines refuse to take paid advertisement, eg. pay per click, on gambling sites.

Any suggestions would be appreciated on how best to promote a site dedicated to giving players the best possible sites and promotions.

That is a bit difficult in this day if you are geared towards PPC advertising. This leaves several ways, though, to promote your website:

1. Create SEO'd content (i.e., create content in a way that the Search Engines will index the pages and rank them well)

2. Pay for advertising on portals with lots of traffic (those sites should have surfers within your demographic)

3. Link exchange with sites of similar content and you may receive a small portion of their traffic - enough trades and you will gain a small amount of traffic that it will be YOUR JOB to convert.


The best way is to create good content for the search engines. It takes practice and countless hours learning about SEO, but well worth it IMO.
