I know I do. It's 3.17am and I should be in bed. But I'm rarely in bed for 3.17am. Or 5.17am. And when I do go to bed, I'll be available on e-mail via my phone for at least another hour. If you're lucky, you could get a naked e-mail from me. Or one when I'm on the toilet, because I've been known to take my phone in there too.

It's 5.06am. The only people still working are affiliates and prostitutes.

That sounds about right.. The best time to reach me is anytime between 1pm and 5am lol...
Same here,

Me and online18 were talking about this before. 17 hour days are fun. Yes I work in my sleep, and dream about keywords literally. When you begin to visualize the structure of links, and play with their interconnectedness in your sleep is simply when you know you are doing it right. Working on the toilet in the morning is efficiency. Soon I hope to possess a "poop tablet" as I am in the market for a new Nexus 7.

I do not fear these things because I love what I do, but there are some drawbacks, the main one being sitting too much. I intend on investigating a desk that I can raise and work (type) comfortably while standing. If I find something good I'll share it, because we need this for our health. It has been proven that standing instead of sitting can reduce the chances of many (mostly blood related) diseases and adverse conditions.

No other job quite like it, is there?

Wow, I've been thinking about the same thing, I sit too much. I do take daily walks, but it's still not enough, at least once a day I have to lay down and elevate my left leg, because my ankle and foot swell up from too much sitting. let me know when you find that desk! LOL

I also agree, the lack of physical activity has been the biggest challenge for me. I used to be extremely active, the past year I have done very little in the way of exercise.

I work crazy hours too, but I love what I do, so I don't really see it as work. My daily physical exercise consists of walking from the office to the kitchen every hour or so to make a cup of coffee or a sandwich :)

haha.. and my breaks from working consist of cleaning the house or feeding the kids.. Sometimes I clean the house to avoid getting back to work.. Its just a refreshing change to be up doing something... I might be going crazy.. I could use a good hike in the mountains followed by a few (10) drinks at a nice bar.

Hell, yes. It's hard work, and it's my first waking thought, and I woudn't wish the life of a full-time affiliate on anybody not committed to being a full-time fuck up, but I wouldn't change it for all the porn in Sweden. I owe my happiness to the internet.

I am typing this in the bathroom... Going to walk to get my coffee this morning. If you need me I'll have my phone with me and I plan on checking my webstats at least once on the way. Something about Sweden, boobs, and beer, really not sure this is better :)

im sure im yet to make any real money after 5 or 6 years due to the fucking hours. Many times i end up watching more series episodes than articles i actually wrote. I try to make at least one or two pages in the morning, aka midnight or 5 in the afternoon or 7 in the morning i never know what time i will work eat or piss, one thing im sure i spend way to much time on statistics and research, there are a lot of shit i know i never even implemented for myself lol... Point is, affiliates do work stupid hours.

I have just moved house and one of the best things about that is I now have my own office (as opposed to a desk in my bedroom) and have put my treadmill (which was up in the attic and very rarely used) next to my desk. I have a shelf above the treadmill on which I can put my slave monitor & keyboard, so I can literally walk while I work!
Hoping to lose a few pounds now that I don't have to spend all my working time sitting on my arse!

Another strong point is to actually quantify off the top of your head how many hours each project actually consisted of. Doing this makes me realize that only affiliates that are currently working stupid hours are the only ones that will be making real money in the future. Our time/investment may not be directly proportional to our earnings at every given point of analysis, but in the long run I believe them to be reflective of the amount of 2-5am sessions spent. ;D

Programmers have been coding well into the night for decades. I know I did and I'm sure zuckerburg and his buddies did at college, probabally still do.

There's always the Kramer method from Seinfeld, become a Polyphasic sleeper, and you can get a good total amount of sleep and work done at absurd hours of the night.

You guys are beasts :)

I have a few affiliates that I am in touch with regularly on Skype and sometimes when chatting with them I see the local time for them is after 3am to 5am in the UK.

Affiliates are some of the most dedicated and hard working people around, just make sure you don't starve yourself of sleep too much guys it's not healthy to do that long-term.
