Interesting stuff. I'm a little worried about the change from the basic RTG affiliate system, which I trust, to, well, anything else, frankly.

Hard experience suggests that moving from one system to another means this:

Mapping players over - often goes wrong and all of a sudden players get lost.

There's loads of other stuff that can go wrong as well. Personally, I shy away from programs that do this. I'm not really interested in teething troubles etc - if I get any sense that something isn't right, you're gone.

Now, let me be clear: I absolutely trust CWC to be honorable and upfront and have no question about your integrity. But, 8 times out of 10, I've lost out when a program changes system.

Some reassurance needed over at TryMe Towers ;)

New Affiliate Edge Casino Affiliate Program Changes

I hear what you are saying, so let me try and rest your mind here...

Interesting stuff. I'm a little worried about the change from the basic RTG affiliate system, which I trust, to, well, anything else, frankly.

Hard experience suggests that moving from one system to another means this:

Mapping players over - often goes wrong and all of a sudden players get lost.

With our change there will be no re-mapping of players. No change of affiliate link required, that is optional. The change in links would give you greater reporting options, so thats up to you.

The tracking, you are already using and you probably never even noticed.

As a result - No loss in players or tracking.

There's loads of other stuff that can go wrong as well. Personally, I shy away from programs that do this. I'm not really interested in teething troubles etc - if I get any sense that something isn't right, you're gone.

Again, I totally understand you and know that there are affiliates that have been burned in the past but we are doing this for the good. We have simply outgrown the standard RTG affiliate program. It's good for 1 brand and a few other things but in order for us to progress and compete in a market such as ours, then we need to make changes to progress - or we simply get left behind. Having 6 great brands doesn't mean a whole lot if you dont have the tools to back them up.

Now, let me be clear: I absolutely trust CWC to be honorable and upfront and have no question about your integrity. But, 8 times out of 10, I've lost out when a program changes system.

Thanks, but 10/10 times we havent been involved with those

We still use the same RTG stats that you get now, we just report it differently and offer you more in doing so.

Want a hug? ;)

Seriously though, I am sure there will be gremlins in the system but we have a very strong team to weed them out if they do show their faces. We have run a lot of testing and had affiliates testing in the live environment to get feedback and more.

What we can be certain of though is this, tracking will remain unaffected as you are currently using the new tracking and have been for some time. The transition will be as smooth as it possibly can be.

I am sure there will be loads of questions, how do I do this etc which is normal as it will all be new. I will post up some helpful hints and tips as we go on and try and make the change a positive one from the start.

Whatever the eventuality, I am confident that all will go smoothly, even any issues that may arrise. I expect there will be some downtime with the affilaite admin but not the tracking and whatever downtime that does occur will be kept to an absolute minimum.

This is a massive change for CWC, a big change for our affiliates but one that will make everyones lives so much better. Well those that use it. It will even improve your love life!*

* N.B. The part about the love life may not always apply.

A good point, well made.

I had noticed that the standard RTG links were being redirected via AffiliateEdge URLs and thanks for the reassurance. No hug necessary :) I'm sure you're relieved to hear that.

You're local aren't you? Hugs for locals can be arranged. ;D

I haven't lived in Manchester for years, but I'm up there every couple of months for a few days or so and my bank account is still there. Love the place. Not so much the crime rate, though, which is why I don't still live there.

Fair play, if you fancy meeting up next time you are around feel free to give me a nudge.

Oh an update your account details :p
