Can I ask if your tagging the referring affiliate if players decide to click on the pop up you have on African Palace?

Ohdaymnmnnn!!!! Busted... lol. I hope they are (doubt it or why do it). I bet they will say "of course we are tagging them and it is just taking your stats a long time to reflect the new players you have at Grand Reef."

Hi bonustreak,

Thanks for posting here without making any assumptions that we are guilty of untagged cross-marketing activities before giving me an opportunity to respond accordingly.

Ohdaymnmnnn!!!! Busted... lol. I hope they are (doubt it or why do it). I bet they will say "of course we are tagging them and it is just taking your stats a long time to reflect the new players you have at Grand Reef."

Although I understand that this has happened many times in the past with other programs, be it intentional or otherwise, it is grossly unfair and slanderous to make unsubstantiated statements without any kind of evidence either way. Personally, I think we have not been "busted" here at all, and assumptions of this nature are certainly not "lol"-worthy. We cannot, and must not, jump to the worst possible conclusion at every given opportunity.

The official response to bonustreak's question is an unequivocal YES. In fact, all of our cross-marketing activities, which began in May 2013 when African Palace Casino was relaunched, carry affiliate tags where necessary. This includes the exit pop-ups on both Grand Reef Casino and African Palace Casino, as well as the dedicated and ongoing efforts that are now incorporated into the casinos' player retention programs. To date, more than 50 affiliates have benefited from these efforts, in the form of a new real registration at the very least, and very often a lot more. You are most welcome to put us to the test in this regard.

Kind regards,
Lawrence Wilson

It is hard to convey sarcastic humor via text... Thus the cuteness of my comment has not permeated. I said I hope so, I said probably, I said busted... If I were you I would be nice to me and save big words like slander for when you actually need it... *clears throat* LOL

Also please let me add:
You are right, this is a serious business and should not be taken lightly. No one blamed you or said you were doing anything wrong. Bounsstreak did not accuse and neither did I with "I hope" and "I doubt", not laying blame.

I am genuinely sorry, it probably was inappropriate to poke fun at a situation.

...but this is who I am, I will probably do it again. It is just too much fun to miss out on... lol.

To be fair, who could be blamed for jumping to a conclusion with the reputation of African Palace Casino?

Although the jury is still out on the ownership AFAIK, the history of a brand will follow them.

Thank you for your response and the assurance that these pop ups will carry forward to the referring affiliate. As Pinky mentioned the last owners of African Palace were not exactly legit transparent business operators. That is the shame when old brands are bought up the new owners have a fight on their hands...

Thanks for everyone for their involvement in this thread... I sincerely appreciate it.

We are aware that the legacy of African Palace Casino is less than ideal in the eyes of an affiliate, but have tried our best to convey the fact that it has now been relaunched and is operated by the same management team responsible for Grand Reef Casino. As many of you will hopefully attest, this brand has established itself as a strong presence, particularly "down under", and has a fine reputation amongst the many affiliates and marketing partners it works with.

Although everyone is entitled to their own opinion, please try to understand that posting assumptions on forums such as this one can have long-lasting effects in terms of shaping the opinions of others. This can perpetuate information that is potentially outdated and irrelevant to the present. Ultimately, the proof is in the pudding, and I'd like affiliates to judge African Palace Casino on how it behaves now rather than how it did years ago in a market that is now closed. To use a political and historical analogy, nobody labels all Germans as Nazi anti-Semites, do they? I know this is an extreme comparison, but the logic is similar. Actions over time force a change in perception, and this is what we are working hard to try and do. At the very least, give the operators a chance to prove that the brand has potential to be a solid performer in the industry... we certainly think that it can!

If anybody has any particular concerns that they are uncertain of, please feel free to contact me. I will do my utmost to answer as comprehensively as possible, and hopefully clarify the situation as it stands in 2013.

Regards,
Lawrence Wilson
