Had an email a week or so ago saying Coral had changed their terms and conditions without explaining what the changes are. Can AGD do a comparison to highlight the changes please?

Anyone else know what the main changes are?

Let me see what I can find out. I did not get an alert from the system, so it may take me a little bit.

That didn't take long at all. There have been no changes to the terms since the following terms change in March 2015 when there was this change:

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS3.1You shall provide true and complete information to us when completing the Affiliate Registration Form and promptly update such information if all or any part of it changes.? You shall also provide us with such other information as we may reasonably request from time to time.? You will not be entitled to Referral Commissions for any Player that already has an Account. You will not attempt to re-sign or move existing Players between affiliate accounts without written consent from us.? Furthermore, you will not induce existing Players to re-sign under a different name or names. We consider the re-signing of existing Players as Fraud Traffic and reserve the right to withhold payments for any such traffic in accordance with Section 4.6 hereto.3.2Marketing Activities and Responsibilities. You shall market to and refer potential Players to the Websites. You will be solely liable for the content and manner of such marketing activities. All such marketing activities must be professional, proper and lawful under applicable rules, regulations or laws (including any laws relating to the content and nature of any advertising or marketing) and otherwise comply with the terms of this Agreement. You shall not and shall not authorise, assist or encourage any third party to:3.2.1place to:3.2.1You shall not place Marketing Materials on any third-party website or other medium where the content of and/or material on such website or medium is libellous, discriminatory, obscene, unlawful, sexually explicit, pornographic or violent or which is, in our sole discretion, otherwise unsuitable;3.2.2develop unsuitable including but not limited to online piracy , file sharing, illegal streaming and any adult content sites/apps3.2.2develop and/or implement marketing and/or public relations strategies which have as their direct or indirect objective the targeting of marketing of us and/or our Websites to any persons who are less than 18 years of age (or such higher age as may apply in the jurisdiction that you are targeting), regardless of the age of majority in the location you are marketing;

A jumbled mess, I know, but should be kinda readable :)

New terms are here. They go into effect 1 May. Is that the terms that you compared?

That's strange. The email said that we'd have to accept the new terms when we next logged in but that never happened. Perhaps they haven't implemented the changes yet. I'll keep an eye out

No, the exact quote is "The next time you log into your Coral affiliate account either on or after 1 May 2016, you will be presented with a full version of the new T&Cs which you will need to read and accept to access your account and continue participating in the Coral Affiliate Programme. "

Note: I added the bold to reflect the date that we have to accept or be done.

Full email below:

Good evening,

This email is to notify you that we will be rolling out changes to the Coral Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”), which will be effective from 1 May 2016 (the “Effective Date”).

For your reference, the new T&Cs (which will be effective from the Effective Date) can be viewed here (note: link removed).

What do I need to do?

The next time you log into your Coral affiliate account either on or after 1 May 2016, you will be presented with a full version of the new T&Cs which you will need to read and accept to access your account and continue participating in the Coral Affiliate Programme.

Here to help

If you have any queries about the new T&Cs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via your usual Account Manager within the Coral Affiliate Team, or at affiliates -at- coral.co.uk (note: email address format modified)

Please note that in the meantime and until the Effective Date, the existing T&Cs will continue to apply and are available and can be viewed in the usual manner on the Coral Affiliates site at xxx.affiliates.coral.co.uk (note: link modified).

Best Wishes,

The Coral Affiliate Team

I *can* compare those terms, but we do not compare until terms go 'live'. So - I will have to compare and then remove from the spider. Give me some time.

The Coral terms changes that are taking effect on May 1st, 2016 are shown here in the TAS document: https:// www. affiliateguarddog. com/terms-changes/TAS/1148/Coral_terms.html

For a quick rundown (because I have another stupid tax appointment soon):

* Dormant Account Charges - administrator-levied charges against inactive acounts
* Sportsbook Net Revenue information
* Tax information - government tax applications
* Increased verification - passport, driving license, utility bill, etc. Possible notary for those items. Witholding of payment unless documents are perfect.
* Stringent marketing procedures to protect Brand(s) and gaming license
* Negative Carryover now a 'maybe'
* Inactive Affiliates clause - reduction of affiliate earnings to 10% if no new players are brought in a 60 day cycle (Says they can reduce to 10% for the 'Remainder of the term' - Lifetime forward??)

That is the gist of it. Very predatory. Actually Rogue since it is a breach.
