I think people in our industry should let each other know when there are shady things going on. It helps keep others from getting involved with bad outfits.

Commission.biz, the company behind betonline.ag and sportsbetting.ag is acting very shady. I submitted a help ticket a week ago which they never replied about offering my customers the same bonus being offered at other sites. On a separate occasion I contacted their customer service to ask about the survivor pool and they had me on hold for twenty minutes. Terrible business.

I reached out on Twitter and this morning I wake up to see my commission rate was cut down to 10%. They have ignored any attempt I have made to contact them, including email.

Mind you I have been doing business with them for 12 years and there has never been a problem. All I can think of is that we removed them from our sites when they had the melt down a few months ago with the web hacks. We put them back up after they straightened it out. We couldn't justify sending customers there while the site was down and under siege.

We only average $500-1000 commission a month from them so they really don't care about losing our business and it shows. I would suggest staying away from working with them or when they deem you too much trouble they will simply cut your commission and hope you go away.

That's a terrible way to treat affiliates. What some sponsors don't take into account is that affiliates post and share their experiences (especially the negative ones) with other affiliates, and before the sponsors know it, they have alienated many more affiliates than they realize. Ignoring emails and knocking commissions down to 10% is no way to run a business. I'm glad I don't promote them.

Same happened to me Today- I emailed them to pay me what they owe me and close my account - let's not forget they charge 10% of all deposits to at affiliate as a fee - so commission is actually 0%

Wow that is truly messed up. Guess they are getting rid of some affiliates. They made $50K a year from us. Must be in a good enough position to dump that money. I kind of had a feeling this was coming. They hired an affiliate manager a year ago and within a few months that person left. Told me there were major problems there... Not money wise, but management wise.

First I've seen of this. Funny how they brought it out right before the end of the month so this months commission basically chopped in half. unscrupulous. And not responding to affiliate emails.

Why would i send players to them when i have other sportsbooks that gives me a higher rev share, no deposit fees, someone who emails or calls me back, makes unique content for me, unique banners and actually converts?

Isn't higher rev share enough of a reason?

There are a lot of newer good books now that convert better and pay better, looks like they are getting out of the affiliate business, adding min RMP when the site goes down for weeks at a time.

From the management--

That was one of the rules that we put in place late last year so it isn’t exactly new. It was just recently enforced however as we started on Feb 1st that any affiliates who sent less than 3 RMP in 6 months, would have their commission dropped down to 10%. August 1st is when the affiliates affected had their rates dropped. We sent out communication about this and also updated the affiliate website to show this. Once they meet this min. threshold, they can then go back to the standard rev-share rate.

Not sure why anybody is having issues getting a response but they should email us directly at support@commission.bz and someone will definitely respond. Affiliates can contact to get in touch with one of our AM’s and perhaps work something out.

Sounds like a retroactive change from the orginal terms to me- I will be re- reading the terms later today for AGD.

I have screen shots of my support ticket sitting there with no answer as we speak. Also, emails with no response sent to that very same email address.

Sad that betonline.ag and sportsbetting.ag aka commission.biz went predatory. I hope this gets followed up and they get put on the list.

Great timing I guess.... I was just about to start promoting them again for some extra niche content, then I see they have been moved to the rogue house. Guess Ill cancel that plan.

Actually, they charge 9.5%, not 10%. Nit picky I know, but just wanted to clarify.

On another note, the 10% rate for < 3 RMPs is them copying one of their closest competitors. As you know, they compete heavily in the US market. The biggest poker room/book/casino up against them there is BestPartners aka Bovada/Ignition Casino.

Take a look at this copy work, you will chuckle. First up, BestPartners:

Now look at Commission.bz's revised commission structure from earlier this year:

See any similarities? :) :) :)

It's actually more favorable towards affiliates not pushing much volume when compared to BestPartners. Still, I get what everyone is pissed about. Not trying to defend so much as point out a few things I think people probably glossed over/missed.

Thanks for the clarification (wow - time on your hands?) - if you are actually still working on a scaled commission then you are doing something wrong.

Time on my hands? I mean, it took 5 minutes to make that post. And this is a community where we help each other so... no big deal you dig?
