Cherry admin and adjustment fee

Hi,

I have been promoting you for the last 6 months, but struggling with my earnings and I'm planning on dropping your brands from my site. I see in your terms that you have an adjustment fee and an admin fee. However it dont mention how much it is?

"
Revenue Share” means the revenue share payments described in Clause 4.3; and is calculated as follows:

Net Revenue = (Bets – wins – bonuses – adjustments) – admin fee"

Can you please tell me:

The % on the adjustment fee?

The % on the admin fee?

The ‘adjustments’ isn’t a set fee or percentage. This covers such things as chargebacks etc This was mentioned in the terms at the beginning the Terms and Conditions.

“ adjustments made for any credit card charge-backs or any other reversal of a payment, fraudulent or otherwise voided or modified transactions, bad debt, and liability to any betting duty or licensing fees for data or other duty, tax or expense that may arise”

Admin Fee is 25%

For full transparency please note we also ducted tax in certain countries:

Germany - 19%
Austria - 40%

Also, what is finance fees? Is that fees linked to deposits/withdrawals?

Game license - The cost of the license to have the slots/sports betting software
Game royalties - The a % of GGW for using the games
Finance fees - This covers payment processing fees for affiliates and players

Affiliates will be lucky in the end to make 10% in commissions after all the deductions. I am not marketing to Germany and Austria anymore due to the large cost of taxes.

Yes that’s correct, however there are other costs we don’t include things such a wages/affiliate software costs/ other operating costs.

For a ‘true’ commission %. Here’s an example : a player who deposits €100, gets a €100 bonus, players and loses everything and the affiliate is on 30% commission.

Net Revenue = (Bets – wins – bonuses – adjustments) – admin fee * RS

€200 - €0 - €100 - €0 = 100 - 25 (admin fee) = 75 * 0.30 = 22.50%

For anyone that’s unhappy with the admin fee I’d be more than happy to discuss a revenue share % increase or a CPA/hybrid option.

I dont think its Cherry's fault that Germany and Austria has taxes on gaming.

I actually think the above fees seem very reasonable. But it don't explain why I earn so little. I have other programs that charge me double these fees but I make much more with them.

There isn’t a report at the moment, but we’re working on that. Our new report will show tax, adjustments and admin fee deductions. It will be available in October once the merge (with Earn affiliates) is complete.

However in the mean time, I’d be more than happy to provide you with a manual report that includes adjustments. For tax it is deducted from GGW before being sent to the affiliate system, but that will change from October as mentioned and be shown in the report.

At the moment we’re not accepting UK players (hopefully soon though) and tax will be 15%.

I’d be more than happy to look in your account and see what we can do.

As you don't specify 25% in the terms, you can change this fee on a daily basis without informing your affiliates. Last year I was told by one of your AM that the admin fee was 40%!

I can tell you 100% the admin fee is 25% and has been since 1st January 2015 for CherryAffiliates. Yes technically we could change it, however we have lots of other things to keep us busy.

I honestly think Elaine has provided more information here than any other program. I would ask for that custom report if you need more information. I don't know what the admin fee was before, but it is fairly 'moot' at this point in time since that was nearly 3 years ago.

Most programs do not put admin fee into their terms, btw. Most don't even mention it as part of the calculation - Cherry is being very open and honest here, so I appreciate the honest conversation. I would say if you have issues converting or making money - take advantage of Elaine's offer and get that report to find out why. I'm sure, at the very least, it would help you understand how to modify your strategy.
