Casino Returns -1 day notice and closing down program

Just recived this (31st January 2018):

OUR AFFILIATE PROGRAM IS CLOSING DOWN
It's with great regret that we send you this email. Casinoreturns Affiliate Program will be closing down as of the 1st of February 2018. The following reasons have forced us into making this tough decision:
Unprofitability of the affiliate channel in the UK, the affiliate program has been running at a loss since the first day.
The lack of affiliate interest in promoting the casino brands.
The UK ASA's policies and associated potential fines.
Please remove all reviews and banners related to Mobireels and Spinprive.
Affiliate Payments will be finalized at the end of February 2018.

Yes, I dare say it's one in the same person.

For the record, he was in partnership at Reffiliates (who ended up screwing affiliates when it was sold to the new owners), and who (AFAIK) commenced his AM career at PlayShare Group in 2006.

Why people keep trusting that WL's, won't bend-you-over, truly amazes me.

WL's are akin to a 'poor man's' casino. A vision of a Ma and Pa operation, conducted from the basement of someone's home!

Both these WL casinos are still, very much, in operational mode. Hence, the question begs to ask, is this just another, well, scam? How many players were truly referred to these casinos. How many affiliates are now shafted, because the casinos are clearly going to keep making money on these referred players...

Funny how "Duwayne" has now be involved in two (2) back to back programs who have shafted their affiliates...More so, these WL's are using Nektan, which ironically, is where Duwayne's business partner ended up, as the operational manager of BetReels.

Are the owners of Betreels et al, in any way, shape, or form, connected directly or indirectly, with these WL's?
