Hello Everyone,

I have to say that everything I read about C-Planet on this forum is pretty much true. We have hundreds of clicks, many downloads and signups and absolutely no conversions.

Compared to the other networks we advertise and do convert. I guess my real questions is the following since we will need to revamp this whole thing.

1. What are the best converting affiliate programs for the USA, Canada and the UK ?

2. From what I understand, every geotarget has its own options in good affiliate programs. I guess my other question would be, is there a way to promote only international casinos (accepting players from everywhere) or are the conversions better by targeting your visitors to casinos of their own country?

3. My last question would be, since we cannot completely control the flow of traffic we get from search engines, what is the strategy to convert for all the international traffic? (spain, malta, australia, germany etc...)

We really appreciate your input on this.

Thank you

Here are my main US programs:

Mainstreet Affiliates - No negative carryover, awesome AM (Carol). Casino selection isn't the greatest but it works.

AffActive - No negative carryover. I have had problems with conversions though. I hear some people do great with these guys.

AffiliateEdge - Great casinos, high conversions but they DO have negative carryover.

Thank for your opinion - the C-Planet was in the list which I am going to look through ti choose affiliates.
AffiliateEdge - sounds good. But what ti choose: high conversions or negative carryover? As for me, the smaller and lower, but reliable variant is better.

IMO there is no 'BEST' converting program.

conversions depend on so many variables.

Each demographic is going to have their own conversion rate and some things will convert great for one demographic but will fail badly for another similar demographic.

Trial and error using good programs is the one tried and true way what 'works'.

I strongly agree with lots0.

I'm sure he'll agree with me when I say some affiliate spend their time chasing their tails. Asking others for programs which convert. However when it boils down to it, you have to analyise your own traffic, look at what the SE's are sending you and by what terms and phrases.

Run A/B testing on different program to see which coverts best for your site. Keep tweaking the B page for each program until you feel you've tweaked it enough and nothing is going to work. In taht case kick them to curb and try someone else.

If this was easy everyone would be doing it. Try to keep that in mind, don't give up and keep trying. Follow these simple suggestions and soon your see results.

That's certainly true. I've spoken to other affiliates to see which affiliate programs are best. Even if an affiliate program makes a fortune for one person, it doesn't mean it will work for everyone (as I've tried for myself several times). But there are certainly good programs that work well for most people, and mainstreet is one of those :)

Well good luck with them.
I dumped them when they decided it was a good idea to ask players to wager (Deposit+Bonus) x100 for slots play...

Also taking a minimum of 2 weeks as standard to pay players is not a good policy IMHO.

It's in their bonus T&C's - clearly displayed on all their websites.
For example, go to: Las Vegas USA Casino, online casino gambling with over 150 games in a vegas style environment
Look just below the table of wagering contributions and you will see:
Players from outside US and Canada: Due to a higher incidence of fraud and bonus abuse, PLAYERS LOCATED OUTSIDE USA AND CANADA WILL NEED TO ACCOMPLISH TWICE THE REGULAR WAGERING REQUIREMENTS ACCORDING TO THE RULES AND THE GAMES ABOVE, AND THE WAGERING LIMITATION ON ALL BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS WILL BE INCREASED TO 100 TIMES IF REAL SERIES VIDEO SLOTS IS INVOLVED. Players from Greece: Wagering requirements on all bonuses and promotions will be increased to 200 times if Blackjack is involved.
Total insanity IMHO.

Wow. Is this confirmed? If so, that's just horrible. I've got a soft spot for Mainstreet - there's lots to like about the program and their staff - and they are listed to be promoted more heavily on my sites in 2012 but this is something that would change those plans.

Heard Mainstreet has some ridiculous cash out restrictions for players. Have been promoting them, but everytime I check the stats it says error no data to display, so they aren't doing great for me at all.
And cplanet lol, Player withdrew 2000 dollars the end of november, start of december > deposit 600. No negative carry over :)

You can expect those large withdrawals at the end of every month that will zero out your commission...it's what they do.
