There has always been a lot of bugs in the Videoslots affiliate back end. It seems that they have not employed testers at all who tests the system so I guess we have can help them a bit in order to see them fixed as soon as possible. Win-win!

Here is a list of current bugs/annoyances that I have found:

- "List Activities" function under customer report does not work for new players.
- "Activity" function under customer reports does not work at all. This is the function where you can limit customer report within a activity date frame.
- Earnings Graph on start page does not work at all. Flat line.
- "Marketing URLs" under campaign does just return: array(10) { [0]=> NULL [1]=> NULL [2]=> NULL [3]=> NULL [4]=> NULL [5]=> NULL [6]=> NULL [7]=> NULL [8]=> NULL [9]=> NULL }.
- "Export" button under Payments does just generate a html-file with simple unformated text. The exact same as un the table under payments.
- "Export" button under Breakdown does not work at all. When you click, nothing happens.

Feel free to add more in the thread.

- Search function in Customers report does not work at all. If you search for a player nothing comes up. You have to manually find a specific player if you want to watch its stats.

Not being negative but given their less than sartorial approach to meeting their partners needs (not mistaken for wants), I dare say these issues weren't, and wont be, high on their list to resolve, any time soon.

Seems like affiliates were just a useful means to grab players for free, or very close to it.

Yes that was what i said in a different thread. I was told by someone within Videoslots high up that basically Videoslots don't need affiliates anymore they want to progress through Social Media....hint hint (my conversations where on a friendly level not as a working affiliate but as a player) It is really hard for me as do not want to say anything bad about Videoslots themselves as there are some great people behind it so i will have to keep information at this :)

They may not "need affiliates" anymore, but they have a standing commitment to their affiliates, because without these people, VS would not have grown their huge player base. Great people, good honest people, don't rip affiliates off. Which is exactly what VS are doing with forcing their partners to wear 100% of ALL the VS operational costs etc., etc., etc...

Video slots will never change its practices for fooling affiliates

Exactly, I'd go on to say, it would not surprise me in the least, if this entire fiasco of yanking stats data, wasn't a premeditated business plan from the get go. Lets not forget that the Video Slots CEO , was once a low-rung casino affiliate (it seems ethics wasn't a strong point, then, either). Further more, he seems to have little respect for the truth.

If he was an honourable man (head of VS) he'd have followed up on KK's request (and others too). But he didn't. I suspect, it was his call to have this "stats data" yanked, in the first place. Since then, VS affiliates have been led on a merry dance round the mulberry-bush. And the VS coffers have overflowed with their cash. The same cash they should have paid to their partners.

But instead, chose to steal it from them, by using undisclosed (absurd) fees etc., etc., etc. Yet promising highly inflated commission percentages. It's aking to shooting fish in a barrel...

And for the record, I feel it's warranted. VS were not always clean. In the early days they used FU clauses to deny winnings, and many other roguish practices. So just remember this...

A leopard doesn't change its spots - it just gets better at killing its prey!

That prey, in this long-standing-issue, are VS affiliate partners ;)

Given what's transpired, no one could be blamed for thinking VS do-not-have the best interests of their affiliate partners at heart.

I would like to keep this thread about the different bugs in the platform. Please keep it clean so that it does not get closed because of all the OT. That is the reason why I have started lots of threads recently so that we and Alison & Miles does not get lost in all the different questions/critique.

@gobo - if you did't want comments, make it clear in your 1'st post, that this "thread" is only to answered by certain parties... If you'd have done that, you wouldn't have wasted my time here!

The thread title is Bugs in the Videoslots affiliate back end.
Even you ought to be able to understand what it is about, and what it is not.

@Guard Dog, have VS decided not to talk to affiliates here at AGD anymore?

They aren't getting notified by the automated system (will fix tonight). They will respond. I'll make sure of it. I just have a direct connection and want to exploit that where possible.

A quick search on Google for "Video Slots CEO" displays mutliple listings with Alexander's full name. So it's not like I posted anything private. Hence, why was my posted edited to remove a name, where it's already in the public domain?

Yes, all Issues are getting worked on. we have a list of priorities.

We want to finish our Transparency Reports ( added GGR, NGR |+ all Fees and Costs under breakdown report and are working on deposits this should be ready soon

We have Dynamic Tracking Now + API for reports that are being tested. we are working on Pixel Tracking as well as some other neat features ..

Some Bugs will take longer to sort out as these are not business critical and are nice to have and we thought that the Transparency details should be number 1 all these things have been logged as ALI mentioned in numerous posts and will get sorted 1 at a time over time.
