Brightshare No Payment

Brightshare is a certified program here at AGD but what exactly does that stand for and represent...
  • Is it unreasonable to expect thread posts to be answered in a timely manner?
  • Commissions paid by the date stated in their T&C's?
  • If problems occur, notification of such, by email, instead of affiliate chasing it up?
While it's nice to know the tracking of program is Kosher, that doesn't help if the program is slack in other areas and non repsonsive to their affiliates or worse, has major problems adhering to its own T&C's.

Also out of interest, are the tracking on these cerified programs, re-checked periodically? Or is it one (1) time proccess. Which in some cases could be many years previously when certified.

These are valid concerns for affiliates, especially, toward and for programs who are displaying AGD certified Seals.

I'll answer, even though I commented in the previous thread.

* They are expected to respond, however - with BS - there is a problem with the code. I am out of town and cannot fix it.
* Commissions should be paid by the date - 20th in their T&C's
* Notification isn't working here, as mentioned several times

BS typically adheres to their T&C's. As we all know, payments will occasionally be late over the years.. BS has a pretty darn good track record, but are late this time.

As you likely know, AGD has a spider which alerts us to changes in T&C's. This is where the 're-check' comes in. Everything else becomes more of a 'are they adhering to that contract?' and if we hear that they are not - then a re-review happens.

Hopefully that helps... now... I am out of town, so probably won't hear the responses until later this evening.

Thanks, and I think I figured out how to get notifications working... was a setting that I forgot about. Custom system and all, the settings aren't always where expected. Marcia should be a notification and hopefully will post the same information here as she posted at GPWA.

Andy - thanks for getting this notification to me. I hope I'll get all notifications now....

Re: the late payments this month....I have an update now to the previous post quoted above:

Checks and wire transfers were sent out last Friday - July 18.
There has, in fact, been a delay in our ewallet payments - NeTeller, PaySpark and MoneyBookers (Skrill). In each case there was an error made in the transfer of funds.

The update is that Moneybookers has now been paid to affiliates - and confirmed to me by several affiliates.
This situation is as equally unacceptable to us as it is to you, our affiliate partners.
Know that we have taken this to the highest levels in each organization and are working to get the payments made asap.
I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Hi All,

Further update: all NeTeller accounts have now been paid.
This leaves only PaySpark not yet straightened out.
If you're a PaySpark account and would like to switch to some other payment method, please contact your affiliate manager, or me - here or at marciaa@brightshare.com
