Received this today:

As recently communicated, we are launching a new and improved affiliate system. We can now confirm that the new affiliate system will be live on 1 July, 2015.

We will be creating an affiliate account for you in the new affiliate system and migrating all of your players from your old BrightShare account into this account. Once this account has been created you will receive an email from us which will include your new account number and instructions on how to log into your account.

You can look forward to some great new features with this upgrade, including an improved media management system, reporting, exclusive creative, tailor-made earnings within one account, and much more.

Keep an eye on your inbox for more information, as we’ll be sending your new affiliate account information shortly. If you have not received an email with your new account details by 7 July, please contact support AT brightshare DOT com

Sincerely,
BrightShare

I'm trying really hard not to succumb to a "negative" mindset over this.

It's hard because looking back over every program that's migrated my players, there has always been issues with some players going MIA. Having not one (1) but two (2) accounts at Brightshare, it's double concern.

How do others feel about this transition?

I am with you Bet4You, BS never converted well for me, for example "player retention" has only been average/good with low depositing players.
Player retention with high rollers = I brought them a bunch of super high rollers depositing up to 4 figure amounts within one month but those disappeared silently and very fast.
My opinion is, not worth promoting and probably playing neither, the support team has had very slow response times when it came down to actually using their support, slow, no apologies for the late reply, nor nothing. I think that's pretty unprofessional but hey they must have some positive aspects as well I guess, I just didn't get to find them :)

Of all the MGS casinos I promote, I've found players seem to win more often at BS casinos. I've often thought that's a bit odd because regardless of the casino, MGS software is generic across all casinos. So either there are a lot of hidden fees being sneaked in, leaving NGR dramatically lower or something else is amiss.

TBH I've never seen so many slot players have soooooooooooo much luck, as mine seem to do, playing at BS casinos... just sayin.

I've been promoting BS casino since 2001, so I'm somewhat concerned about this migration.

I will spin the opposite story. I found the my high rollers were kept happy and playing at BS casinos and even cross-promoted well in that I kept the players. However - this was prior to the US leaving market. Since that point I haven't made a dime (all my players were US players).

I do NOT, however, trust a new affiliate system from them. Don't know what it is, just a gut feeling.

I read something last week or the week before regarding the upgrade, the one post I just found in my spam box not 10 minutes ago.

I'll check out the new system, the old one I hated, I can't look at one month of data at a time.

Upgrades, link changes, new platforms.....

All this is done to exclude inactive affiliates from further income in my eyes.

No updated payment info...not our prob...sorry old banners don't track.

blah blah blah

Are you serious didn't they JUST change programs like a yr ago once we all found out they had 2 sets of stats?

Yeah the double databases... Before that it was the ASUSA bungle, previous to that the dodgy SEO campaign (http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12659), which had their eCOGRA seals stripped.

As for players well they haven't been left out in the cold either. Jackpot Factory tried to claim at CasinoMeister they'd sold (I believe) Wild Jack Casino. CM members were owed money etc etc. A little digging revealed it hadn't really been sold per se, instead transfered to one of their subsiduary companies. Then it magically changed over to the Digimedia Malta License.

I do NOT, however, trust a new affiliate system from them. Don't know what it is, just a gut feeling.

A good affiliate mate made reference to a Dog and Pony Show, when comparing another affiliate related topic. This "show" anology seems to fit these programs changing platforms, just as well. For the record, given their history and the fact (sorry but too many programs from this region have proved to dodgy) they're in Tel Aviv, makes me nervious and I don't have much faith in ALL my players being safely mapped over.

Once upon a time you could pretty much set and forget.

These days you have to watch your stats like hawk, even to the point of taking daily backups. That really sucks. But when you've been marketing casinos on some platforms for literally years and years, what choice do you have, to make sure your not getting shafted???

Edit:

I tried to login in on Saturday and we all know they (BS) don't work Friday or Saturday. So why couldn't I gain access to my accounts. Just tried it again and it's working again. Stuff like this and unresponsive support happening on a regular basis, leads me to holding doubts about credibility.

Well just received my "new" account login ID. Followed the proceedure and all went smoothly.

Logged in fine, then discover WOW this is identical to Fortune Affiliates.

So anyone who holds any doubt that both these affiliate programs are owned by non-related-entities, this should prove otherwise ;)

EDIT:
Just so there's no misunderstanding here... I don't care who owns what. However I personally don't like being Bullsh#ted, especially by a program I'm working with, who I'm supposed to trust 100%... If a program is happy to lead me up the garden path on this, what else are they happy to pull-my-chain over... just sayin!

Affiliates aren't mindless suckers.
Going forward I hope Brightshare respect this fact and instead drop the B#llShit and just tell us the facts as they really are.

I don't really like the reports any better so far. Still can only query a month at a time which is STUPID at this point in technology - let me slice and dice it however I want! Agreed with the rest of the comments, my only other observation is that *at least* they have a high roller report unlike most.

I haven't received my new password yet, even though the system said that it's been sent. Anyway, while I wait to receive it, I will say that I've found the B.S properties hard to convert, but as for the few players that I have there, they play every month, and B.S always pays on time.

I just logged into my new account a little while ago - and my June report is completely blank!
Anyone know: Is June supposed to be shown, or is the new system only for July onwards?
Well it wasn't mentioned in the e-mail they sent out, but you have to go to http:// www1. brightshare. com and log in with your old details to get stats for June and earlier.
Had a bit of trouble logging-in at first - but BS replied very quickly when I contacted them and got it sorted. ;)
