I tried it a few months ago and the exchange rate was the going rate for the time when you deposit - no obvious fee was being taken off. They get their fees when you withdraw using the card and/or currency exchange.

At the moment, 1 BitCoin is now worth very close to $10,000 USD. Just keep an eye out for it to keep rising rapidly at any day now. ;)

It zipped past $10k last night, and $11k this morning. At this rate we'll see $20k by lunch! :p

I don't think this pump will last much longer. If you zoom out on the chart, to a 1 week or 1 month candle chart, it looks a lot like your standard altcoin "pump and dump" chart. These types of parabolic spikes always retrace back to where they started, and when this eventually happens to BTC, we could see it fall back to $4k or even $3k.

... and back down again we go. It looks like another whale induced pump and dump.

A cash settled futures market should have little effect on the price of Bitcoin because it doesn't require either party to a contract to ever buy or sell any. Its just a tool for "institutional investors" to gamble, hedge, or arbitrage based on the price of Bitcoin.

I still think this is driving the price to some effect. It's not really about what should or shouldn't happen, it's about publicity, speculation, and FOMO. As long as bitcoin stays in the news as a forward moving technology, the more people are going to buy into it. Being placed in the Nasdaq, also gives it credibility to those that are still skeptical.

"On Nov. 12, someone moved almost 25,000 bitcoins, worth about $159 million at the time, to an online exchange."

Anyone with that many bitcoins can certainly cause big ripples in the crypto world and make insane profits.

In fairness, Its not all bad I did still get a house out of it. Cant complain about that.

It's all about the timing...
I was going to buy 0.25Btc worth of LiteCoin on Saturday... but delayed it until yesterday... :(

Mind you - I've made over $2,000 on it in 24hrs!
Better than being an affiliate??? o_O

Litecoin Price:
Saturday (3 days ago): $123
Yesterday (Monday): $219 (When I bought it)
Today (Tuesday): $352.. and still rising fast!

It's just CRAZY!

Yes, crazy, KK... just crazy.
BTW, I prefer a "slow" approach to cryptocurrencies.
Having some (a lot?) of ETH mined in the past (never sold), having some (some BTC) never spent... I bought around 5K of another cryptocurrency (KMD) in mid-March 2017 when it was "priced" 0.000029 BTC - USD 0.036 for a total price of USD 180.

Jumped around USD 2.36 in late september - total portfolio $11800
Right now USD 3.48 - total portfolio $17400

Thinking to hold it... :D

The CBOE is not the only exchange listing futures contracts. The Chicago Mercantile Exchange CME will begin initial listings of bitcoin futures contracts on Dec 18 while Nasdaq plans to launch bitcoin futures as early as in the second quarter of 2018.

CME's contracts will also be cash-settled and are based on an index from four bitcoin exchanges - Bitstamp, GDAX, itBit and Kraken.

The contracts will be available on the CME Globex electronic trading platform, and for submission for clearing via CME ClearPort, effective Dec 17 for a trade date of Dec 18.

Is it possible to be scammed through affiliate program?
It is possible that you are scammed through the affiliate program. Let’s say, you inserted a promo code and it made you lose your money somehow? I don’t do Bitcoin casino, but I want to try cloud mining and they have a promocode website . So, I just wanted to know whether I have any reason to worry about or no.

How bizarre, the thread is not touched since December 16, 2017. Then a "new" member asks a random question. Then nine (9) minutes later, yet another "New" member (who btw both have registered new accounts today, and both are 27 years old), answers the question. Both thank each other (lol). Don't wish to seem cynical...but this looks suss, to me.

@cryptogod - Lets just say, both accounts are sharing an identical IP, which happens to resolve to a cloud server :D
