I think there is something up with Casino Creed Affiliates... They do not respond to anything anymore, which is VERY frustrating considering they were a platinum sponsor here and the people behind Creed 'seemed' to be good folks.

I would NOT promote them anymore... this is my GUT feeling due to non-responsiveness over the last month.

I have placed a warning icon on this group for the moment, but would not be surprised if they get into another category soon.

never did like the name... sounded too much like "Greed" to me.

and I think the casino name is important in this business.

Wow, interesting -- thanks for the heads up. Casino C(g)reed was on my list of possible future casinos to add to my sites if I needed to replace one of my proven performers -- but not anymore.

Thanks for the heads up, glad I didn't give in and sign up when they first started. They bugged me for a long time trying to get me to sign up.

Not a bad idea... Not sure how I can keep track of this, though?

It just reiterates the fact again that any new affiliate program should be taken on with gloves. We've promoted them for nearly a year and never made a dime out of them; all we've got to show is a couple of clicks and 1 sign up.

Although we never marketed this outfit aggressively it pales in comparison to the other programs we're working with. I guess it's time to tar and feather them.

Interesting problem.

Just a suggestion, how about something like this: Set a button on the first post in the affiliate program area, asking if a response from the aff manager is requested. Then set a cron/db to check aff manager forum response time??

Wouldn't be all that accurate but would be an 'indicator' of responsiveness...

Don't have a greenlight. Just a red light. Give the programs red lights manually in the backend if we have chronic problems.

At this point I would invest in warning affiliates (thats us!) we should be looking primarily after our own hides - besides good program today, bad program tomorrow. Not trying to be negative, I'd invest time into warning affiliates more than putting up green-lights for programs that have a good AM for the time being. Or you might get busy hanging and removing signs all day long ;D

If a program wants a red light removed, I'm sure they will pipe up.

Noted. May take some time to get something like this implemented. I have the new template system at the forefront right now - I have to get the backend data in to make it work. Priority 1.

Just want to warn affiliates again about this place since the Dublin conference is coming up I am sure they will be there making promises and trying to collect affiliates to market this place! Just remember they are good at talking but they do NOT keep up communication once you have started marketing them you are nothing after a few months to them!

Casino Creed having been failing to pay players for months now. If they can't pay the players who they generate their income from, they're certainly not going to pay affiliates their cut of the profit.

It's time to rogue them if this is the case. Don't know if I'm allowed to do this but I'm going to post this anyway. I see this is *** SNIP*** profile at Linked in.

Actually to be fair, it seems my information was a little out of date - the reports i was referencing were

GAMBLING GRUMBLES - Casino Creed
GAMBLING GRUMBLES - Casino Creed
GAMBLING GRUMBLES - Casino Creed

These reports were negative last time i check, so they've obviously been updated since Casino Creed decided to pay. I still wouldn't be rushing to work with them until they've got there house completely in order.
