With very little nudging from the AGD Certification team, BetUS has removed their minimum player rule!

TERMS UPDATE, COMMISSIONS, MINIMUM PLAYER RULE

The net revenue plan (25-35% net revenue) commissionable earnings will be earned for the life of the customer, on all transactions contributing to the affiliates monthly NGR, for as long as the affiliate remains a member of this affiliate program and actively promotes BetUS according to the following :

You will be paid commissions for the lifetime of your player as long as you refer at least 5 legitimate depositing players during each 3 month rolling period . If any 3-month time period should lapse in which you do not refer at least 5 players , you will forfeit the right to any future commissions on players referred previously and your affiliate account will be closed . Your affiliate manager is always available to help you develop a plan for success , and exceptions can be made at the manager’s discretion.

Summary: Great work BetUS! This is what we were waiting on to list your program as affiliate-friendly!

MY BAD! I already had them listed but was unaware of any quota. As many know, I don't get much traffic, but I do have some loyal readers and I would never have listed a place with a quota and risked losing one of them to some place I could never satisfy.

I guess this is one of those happy ending even for the ignorant stories you hear about.

Glad I came in here to read this today....

I will take the time to look at them now since before they weren't even on my short list to look at with the quota.

About time casinos came to the realisation that this ridiculous rule is only hurting their own back pocket as luckily there are enough aff programs available whereby affiliates dont need to promote the ones with ridiculous terms and conditions

Yes, this clause is of no help to the operators themselves. Cant they realise that some affiliates will be small for a year or more and will then mushroom and start sending them bucket loads of players. This is how the big affiliates become big affiliates, by starting off as minnows. The affiliate business is often a slow-burner. If the operators put the affiliates off at the time when the affiliate was only referring one player every two months, then it is the operator who suffers ultimately as those players when they come will be sent elsewhere. I have never understood this clause at all. Cutting off their noses to spite their faces. Anyway, i must say that i find Betus really superb when dealing with affiliates. The affiliate software is good too and they have a big team of managers. Travis is always helpful and knowledgeable. They are slow to pay affiliates - expect at least a six week wait (against Intertops' one day wait!). But they always pay and they have always been fair with us.
