It's probably going to depend on your traffic.

That's the best leverage you can use in order to get higher CPAs. But that's my opinion.

CPA deals are a tricky business.

Firstly, if the program has no past association/knowledge of you, then there is always going to be red flags.
Then, whatever traffic you send, will always be heavily crutinised for fraud, more to the point, incentivised players.

I can understand a non-gambling verticle neogotiating a CPA, but a portal which promotes casinos, opting for CPA, seems odd. Especially when Rev-Share is available.

CPA deals these days, seem to only work well for both parties, when there is a crap load of traffic sent. What usually happens, the program isn't happy with the expected performance, and then the program reneges on the CPA. In which case, the affiliate (who made a promise for X number of players) gets shitty. That scenario plays out here and on the GPWA a lot, these days.

I think Rev. Share is much better deal.
CPA gives the problems that gives as was already mentioned above, but also is like
you win "X" in the acquisition, but only 1 time, no more earnings with that player

Rev. Share=player is "yours", you win a commission of all his/her deposits, can be less if the player simply deposits small amount? yes, but if deposits regularly you are always earning, every month he/she deposits, not only 1 time.

For me, is the best option, but other opinions can be different

You get commission of all deposits? Really? Please show me this casino!
Btw. <joke>Life Time</joke> Revenue Share is a risky bet this days. With all this cheaters, thieves and quotas around!
I run both!

No you don't. You got some % of your actual rev-share of all lost deposits. With all the fees imposed on affiliates these days you actual get rev-share of rev-share.

IMO, there is no such thing as better deal. It depends on many parameters of the specific affiliate business. (of course i mean a real affiliate, not someone refers his friends). Personally, i prefer rev-share, but due to recent changes switch many to hybrids. And there are some rare programs with which i work on CPA (for example certain US program which started to delay payments to affiliates so I doubt i will see the earnings from these players i supposedly "own".

Mikko, i suggest you state your market and vertical to get some suggestions .

If you have built a huge site with lots of traffic a mix of cpa and rev shares is a go. Then your sending quality since you have built up a site with reviews/bonuses etc. You might get high cpa's if you can send high numbers of traffic and have conversion rates.

If you market only via facebook posts and instagram pictures i belive it can be really really hard to find serius casinos / programs giving you a high cpa. Ofcource there is some programs who can give you some great deals, but they are really few. Perhaps you should search for super affiliates and go under some of their wings?

A rev share deal is by far the most profitable in the long run, especially if you sign up a whale. CPA deals are often terminated if the casino is paying you more money than your players are generating.

Hello! I understand everybody's position that the long-term rev share diili is the best. For us, the best thing is CPA when we bring 50 new players a month and we're going to arrange a variety of competitions by participating in winning money and sharing 90% of our revenue players. So we do not aim for big profits. Our revenue is now around € 20,000 per month. But I thought if anyone knew where to easily get over 250 € CPA. I've found a few places but the casinos they offer do not accept Finnish players or their systems did not work.

When affiliates are hunting for CPAs they usually go via CPA networks like Reefmedia or AlexAffiliates. Have you tried that?

Personally, I would never CPA twitch traffic because based on my experience the value is low, do you have a different experience?

Facebook paid ads you should be able to get $200 to $250 pretty easily with a good brand.

I have accound in Reefmedia but not Alex...

CPA is the best option because we will bring 50 players at a time which does not store very many re ... Reefmedia is really a familiar place and their kanssaa I'm working on now for a couple years for us. But I'm looking for another place to easily get the 200 € CPA. I know they are, I just do not know where =)

I agree a revenue share is the most profitable if the casino has a good retention, player value, stays in business and keep their affiliate program.

But I know more casinos that do not have all of this four things than that do have. Sending traffic to many brands is just throwing water into a colander. I prefer to not make that my problem. If you send on a rev. share deal traffic to brands with a poor retention and poor player value, you are losing money. Been there, done that. The difference was quite big.

Also, we see more and more casinos closing down on markets, closing their affiliate program, increasing fees, decreasing commission, quota, etc. Depending on with who you're doing business with and at the market, I don't think it's a bad idea to get some of the future pie after the 1st deposit.

The money you have received cannot be lost anymore. There are so many things unsure in this business.
