Our overall analysis: This program's Terms and Agreements are horrible for affiliates. Do not promote this program unless you wish to have your revenue share reduced to 15%.

NOT WORTH PROMOTING

They are still marked predatory because they still have a predatory term. They currently use the 'Minimum Player Rule' on any affiliates who sign up after November 1st, 2008. That term reduces earnings below their published rates.

Oops - sorry about that, I got trigger happy :) -- did you notice this is in your original post up above? That's what set me off - ;)
Our overall analysis: This program's Terms and Agreements are well within normal operating standards and in no way are designed to hurt affiliates. There are NO KNOWN predatory clauses and affiliates should feel safe in knowing that the T&C's are acceptable to AffiliateGuardDog.com
.

I see what you mean.. .I have to change that for sure as it is no longer accurate.

The next rev of the forums will have that information as part of each program's main forum area. Unfortunately, in the meantime I have to change it manually (which I will do right now)

Thanks WCD!

OOPS! I was on the verge of signing up because I am looking for some Vegas Technology casinos. I also found one of their casinos, GoldenCasino.com in Casinomeister's Rogue List.

They have updated their terms and are now under 'Warning'. What does this mean?

It means that Best Casino Partner (and their sister Casino Blasters) have changed their terms and are now Affiliate-Friendly. HOWEVER - when a program changes to predatory terms at any point, we are not going to give a thumbs up immediately upon terms change. This took a long time for them to make the change back... too long, IMO.

So - feel free to promote, but be wary.

I am VERY happy they 'saw the light', so to speak... but I am still cautious.

Well, I don't think a warning is exactly right if the terms are good now.

At the risk of making things more complicated, I think there should be a different designation for something like that.

The warning is now misleading...

We could take a vote, but that was always what the warnings intentions were.

I think a warning is okay; they really shouldn't be trusted completely just yet. They deliberately enacted a predatory term, and then they refused to change it for many months. I suspect the only reason they changed their T&Cs now is because the ol' pocketbook was getting thin -- not because they really cared about the welfare of their affiliates. That's just my opinion, though.

Another reason I don't trust this group is because BCP actually stole a player from me and didn't keep a promise that they made. When they closed one of my two accounts, Allen (if that was his real name) agreed to move the one active player from the closed account to my remaining open account, in exchange for me promoting them again. I held up my end of the deal -- I put the casino back up that day -- and then he never moved the player over as promised. Because this conversation took place on the phone, unfortunately I have no proof of this....

So, because they stole from me, and because their T&Cs were so unfriendly for so long, I'm not willing to just turn the page and give them a fresh start. I do think they should have a warning label for at least 6 months. If they keep their nose clean for that long, then by all means, remove the warning. Personally, I will wait at least a year before I work with them again (if ever, because I'm not sure if I will ever get over the fact that they stole from me).

Also, as Nandakishore said, Golden Casino is still on Casinomeister's rogue list, which further complicates things....

This goes back to how does each individual take a warning, some take it as strong urging do not promote or think twice before you do. I think if it were me I would say on this program to proceed with caution. I am working with them and willing to take the risk to see how they work out but with caution.

A VERY good suggestion came to me (offline). The problem with allowing programs to just change terms back and once again appear 'in favor' is that programs can them move back and forth with very little repurcussion.

As such, I think a good discussion (in a separate thread, would be around the idea of penalizing programs that do this by: Giving them a warning for the same amount of months that they carried their predatory term.

I will create a discussion thread about this shortly.

Affiliate Guard Dog Terms and Conditions Analysis is not about policing and punishing irresponsible programs in the gaming industry. Realisitcally, it should be set to green - but, it would be irresponsible to be put it to green without warning.

I wouldn't promote a program which took so long to change their terms and conditions.

For 8 months they didn't act on the change - if that isn't a blatant disregard for improper action on their behalf, don't expect to come out in a clean shining armour when you make the change.

Kudos for having the balls to do it, but after 8 months - some things will stick. And if it took 8 months to make the change - there is no guranatee that it wont happen again.

I have been a member of casinoblasters since approx. 2004, then got moved over to bestcasinoparter. During my time as a casinoblasters affiliate, I have generated a very large amount of revenue.

September 2008 was when the trouble started. I never got a check I was expecting from best casino partner so I emailed them about it. They replied and said my payments were halted because of the low volume of traffic. I explained that one of the reasons for that was because I have been working hard with my partners on a large casino network and we've been reinvesting a significant amount of earnings back into the development of our network. After this explanation, they sent my check.

Months after, I started building up more earnings which kept getting rolled over into a carryover balance. I now have a carry over balance in the tens of thousands and it still has not been paid for many months. I emailed best casino partner on september 2nd and have not received a reply. I don't know what to do at this point. I have screenshots of my stats all the way back to may showing my very large carry over balance. They don't have any stats before may 2009.

I'm willing to bet it's a mistake. I have a solid contact there. I am looking into this for you.

Thank you for your help. I emailed Fred. I do trust Best Casino Partner still as they have always been great to me by sending my payments on time (until this recent carry-over issue). I too feel that this is some sort of mix up.

I've emailed them several times about this and still no response over the last 2 weeks. I also noticed that they completely deleted my large carry over balance with no explanation. Im really not sure what to think.

We have talked to BCP on your behalf... sorry for the delay in responding. They will be here to either PM or post to you. It should have been Thursday last week that they responded, but required my help on giving them an account here with Affiliate Manager privileges and I was out for the entire weekend.

The problem has been cleared up by Frederic from Best Casino Partner. I guess somehow my emails were never received. Thank you for helping me get in touch with BCP and figuring out the problem :)

I'm still waiting for June and July's payments - it's only $588, but still I would rather be paid than not paid.

More disturbing, perhaps, is the stats. This month, if I look at the Traffic Report 'By Day' I see a total of 9 purchasing players. But, the when I look at the Revenue Report, it indicates that not one single deposit has been made and no income

It's the same for August, with 25 purchasing players shown, but no deposits and no income

To hear that others have had money kept back on purpose without a very good reason is quite disturbing, imo

Do you have an email address for Frederic?
