August is quickly coming to an end, so how are the commissions doing? For me they are better this month than they have been in a long time. This is thanks mainly to Sloto and Ruby Royal with a little help from a few others such as:

Simon Says
Villento
400 Affs
Affiliate Wide
Pantasia
BetUS

According to Statsremote, that is :)

At least this month I can use a little more affiliate income for AGD! It's been tough the last few months to ciphon much from my affiliate earnings, but seems like I am back on track with earnings again.

How about everyone else?

The number of sign up players increased compared to June and July, but convertion is bad. I will try to make additional optimizations on the site and most probably will remove the ads of aff programs that just do not convert.

I send almost the same traffic (quality & quantity) to 4 different programs and see a huge variance of the convertion rate- between 5% and 40%.

When you start sending a few sign ups every day you will check your stats at least on weekly basis :)

Not a clue!
I never check my stats until after the end of the month.
What an amateur! :p

It looks like it's turning out to be a good month thanks to a big whale that has been playing a little this month..

August was bad for me. Worst in a long time.

July was better for me.

But well, many times it catches up a bit the last week of a month
so I am still optimistic for August.

No, I wont actually.
Apart from not having the time, I really can not see the point.
You check your stats mid month; If they're really bad you get depressed, if they're really good you get happy. But they can all change by the end of the month so your emotions do a U-turn! :(
I'd rather just wait & see; I've only been disappointed in about 3 months over the last 3 years, but I've been really happy in about 15! ;)

Considering my income has taken 5 figure hits every month since Feb, I'm surprised I can still manage a smile.

The start of the month looked good but unfortunately short lived. One of my whales (the other two are MIA) return from an extended hiatus to stick it to me with a 25K win. Unlike other times did not play it back.

That must have started a chain reaction cause 2 other players have stuck it to me as well. All up it looks like it's another month of scraping in $2.5K, if.

After studying stats and trends of all my sites, have decided best course of action is to concentrate all my efforts into my one best site. Have hired a content writer who is pushing out a ton of articles. Personally I'm proceeding with writing 2x daily blog posts.

The biggest problem is the average drop per player, per month, has sunk to all time lows.
Pre Feb stood at $1,500US (per player). Now that figure is around $200 or less.

Hopefully I can turn things around in the next couple of months.

Cheers

:)

August - I have had better

Well August close to month end and it seems that only my whale is contributing towards my income this month.

Had a good July, with Affiliate payments coming in throughout the month and got me a tidy sum.

Any ideas as which brands are also doing well? I have really good months from:
  • Prism Affiliates
  • AffEurope
  • Superior Casino
  • AFFACTIVE - an AWESOME JULY

I wouldn't be shouting that too loud around here. They are the roguest of the rogues. They cheat players and they will cheat you too eventually.

Like Dave I have been a Winner magnet this month.
Tens of thousands paid out... So far, just barely made enough to pay to the mortgage and put food on the table, as long as no other players hit another big winner.

On the plus side... Seen more sign ups and first time deposits this month than I have seen in a very long time.

I even saw a $150.00 deposit at TIV... and I stopped promoting them and pulled all their stuff middle of last winter...

I think the large no deposit, 1 hours free play has been flogged hard. I'm finding less and less sign-ups each month.

Last month added both all slots and all jackpots with their $200 initial sign-up. This month scored 11 depositing players with 8 second deposits.

I'm pushing 32red pretty hard but with no AUD landing page it's very hard to convert for my niche. I especially don't like their new casino page.

Maybe that's why the brightshare casinos are doing well. The landing pages are suited to the market.

Have a great weekend all, whatever you get up to, enjoy yourself!

Cheers

:)

A quick tally shows I'm only about $200-$300 less than July's earnings.

There has been some alarming economic data here in the USA the past week or two.

Last month was an all time record high. This month has been lack luster over all for most, with the exception of one affiliate who has been doing fantastic.

We are experiencing the same phenomenon as Dave, the per player value is about half of what it was during the last three trailing months.

Maybe the high rollers are on hiatus. Something I don't know about?

As you guys know I used to be a full time affiliate, and my affiliate revenue has been steadily decreasing in proportion to the time I spend on LCP.

I heard that the best months are typically around December, but historically our program has much better performance in feb, mar (and now July). Only two years of data, but interesting.

hmm, this August is diffrent,
1st half of the month was more movement in my stats across almost all programs than the 2nd half.
Normally I always have a better 2nd part of a month.

Still I am not unhappy with the earnings so far. My top earners are

GoWild
Referback
Affeurope
CasinoRewards
Villento
32Red
Starpartner

You notice that are NO Rivals in my list and also not much is going on at my RTG's, Club World Group I got a few new depositors , but also have cashouts here and there.

Up on last August. Very close to last month and would be surprised if July is not surpassed. New signups slightly down on July, but as is always the case, seeing an good increase in signups at the end of the month.

This has been an interesting year, as have completely changed our targetted market primarily to the UK. But things are overall back on an upward curve :)

Speaking of which - does anyone else plot their curve?

Below is mine from about Nov-2006 up to last month.
This shows just how disastrous 2009 was, but now sees a slow recovery.
Anyone else want to share their curves with us? :p
