Anyone uses WordPress post by email

I wonder if anyone uses the post by email feature and share the expirience.

I am traveling without my laptop from time to time so thought it might be a nice thing.

I have not, but editing by email sounds clumsy, imo.
I'd probably go for a xml-rpc solution myself.

I have tried using the responive site.. but editing the text is tough.. seems to jump up and down the sentences.. They shoud design an app which you could write out a post.. modify SEO etc then upload

I have played with the post by email feature, and found it not very efficient.. Have also tried other posting methods such as hootsuite.. I kind of like to be in full control.. Post, edit and preview directly on the site.

Posting via phone is a PITA always.. and I have a pretty good size screen (note 5).. I would say, get a small netbook maybe...

I did not like the post by email at all. I ended up writing an XML-RPC client with vb.net to post content a while back. I don't use it anymore. I do have Hootsuite and that is nice, but costs $10/month.

email would make the post look really odd as I recall. I think it had an issue with HTML or something.. so everything came through as plain-text? Pardon my bad memory, but it was something wonky
