Analyze your traffic and Click Fraud

Hi there,

There are 2 subjects I'll be happy to get your thoughts on:
1. Analyze your traffic - What are your thoughts on Google Analytics, is it sufficient for monitoring and analyzing your traffic, or do you use other softwares?
2. Click fraud - I consider using the Google AdWords advertising platform, and i understand that click fraud is a serious threat. I searched the web and found some services which offer protection from that. What is your opinion on this threat in general and these protection services particularly?

Analytics for me is way out of sync.. AWStats and other server methods track 4 times more traffic.. and not just buts but various referral traffic.. sometimes GA shows 70% bounce when most people have read 5 pages.. Also external tracking is only 10% accurate.. I get more signups than outbound clicks... Click Fraud perhaps a few years ago.. now Google are pretty smart at picking it up and not counting it against you, I ran adsense before but the earnings are pennies compared to having a gambling program in it's ad space.

Hey Frank, I think u misunderstood me.
I dont intend to advertise a service against Click Fraud. I want to use the service myself if i choose to pay for advertising gambling sites through Google AdWords.

Ok well then that depends on how much you are spending on advertising, like i said googles sytsem is pretty good on picking up click fraud.. unless you are worried about on or two clicks.. even then if that is the case I dont think any software will pick it up, You see a lot of claims from software designed in somebody's bedroom claiming to eliminate fraud boost your earnings etc.. I think your best bet would be to watch the campaign closely by eye

You can use a free CDN like cloudfare and look at the statistics in there. It will tell you what is human and what is bot traffic. There are paid CDN's as well that may be better.
