looking for Alternative programs to Casino Coins that know how to convert. I am sending up to 4,000 hits a month (out 20K ) to various programs with little luck, including one major one that says they carry over your negative amount forward? I thought no one did that for years now?

Lots of programs still have Negative Carry-Over (NCO)
I have now dumped all but 3 of them as there is simply no point sending new players to a casino only to be rewarded with $0 for months or even years just because 1 or 2 of them get lucky.
NCO really sucks! :(

has converted OK for me (although nothing to write home about) and the people there have been really great to me.

If you target the US, my experience is that conversions are getting lower for ALL the US facing programs.

I also see more and more programs are going to a carry over policy for negative balances.

Yes but they have neg carryover - so if you are going to depend on that income, you may have unpleasant surprises.

For the exact reason Dom mentioned, I don't know why anyone would risk promoting a program who has NCO. Bundling is bad enough and I'm pretty sure some programs introduced this to conteract the strong opposition affiliates took when NCO was common practice.

As far as who is a good converter, one program may work wonders for some but cr#p for others. IMO it's always a trial and error issue. Albeit some affiliates are stuck with targeting US players so the market is limited, least in promoting trustworth establishment.

I've found affactive converts (for non US traffic) but their rentions sucks and have heard that goes for US players too. Box24 Group along with Black Diamond have recently returned to Top Game. Whilst these casinos have always paid players and affiliate on time, I'm a little apprehensive due to WinWardCasino (rogue), Rome and others who use this software.

Reiterating if you target US players your choices in affiliate programs are hugely decreased - least of all to promoting reputable gaming venues.

I also see more and more programs are going to a carry over policy for negative balances.

What surprises me, I play and can't hit jack but I've got players who are winning practically every damn month and not little pissy cash-outs either. My income these days ranks around 10% of total deposits most months. I've seen an average drop of over 250%. Which frankly if my Net Gaming was in the low 5 figures I'd be stuffed.

I think the good ol days are over and 101 ways to screw affiliates is on the increase.

Personally, I've branched out and into other areas. I can see this industry all turning to sh#t in the not too distant future. And I still stand by my thought that all this crap has transpired after GP got away with bending affiliates over.

So my advice put some dollars away for a rainy day because storm clouds are building on the horrizon.

Cheers

:)

Club World Group.
iNetBet.
Bet365.

The most recent NCO program I dumped was Sunset Casino (Boss Media), who I promoted for 2 YEARS, brought them 47 new players and earned precisely $ZERO for my efforts. :(

IMHO NCO by design is just another way to screw affiliates over and get players at little to no acquisition costs.

You might be surprised to hear that actually I DON'T agree with that statement.

Yes NCO really sucks for the affiliates, but I can understand why some casinos do have it.
I mean, why should they pay affiliates commission in the cases where the players that the affiliate sends are nett winners from the casino?
The casino is losing out twice!

I have quite a few casinos on my books where the casinos have been life-time losers to my players AND they still had to pay me commission in the months when the players lost!
For example, I have just had a quick scan through my Rival casinos - and hell of a lot of them are seriously out of pocket thanks to me! The worst one is Vegas Sky where my players have between them taken $17,759 from the casino, and at the same time I have been paid $3,794 in commission...
Therefore me promoting them has cost the casino over $21,500 off their bottom line!

So to say they are "screwing" affiliates is too harsh IMHO. If you don't like NCO - don't work with those casinos who have it - simples!

Club World Group: Affiliate Edge NCO? as they are with Affiliate Edge? who does carry over and why it is I posted.

or are some of their casinos selective as to being NCO as I am already with them - the others will try in a few days for a while .

Thanks

Errr...
Not sure I fully understand your post.

But anyway:
Club Wolrd Casinos = Affiliate Edge = DO have NCO = do NOT bundle.

I hope that answers the question I think you were asking!

For those who may be confused:

NCO = negative carry over

Most programs only carry a negative balance til the first of the month, then they wipe the slate clean.

Programs with Negative carry over never wipe the negative, you have to work yourself out of the hole.

So, with programs with NCO you can be in the hole for a very long time if you have a big winner.

That means you won't earn on any new or existing players you may send until the hole is filled.

At that point you can settle for waiting for what can be months to get paid for new and existing players again, or you can pull all their ads and try to make some money elsewhere while hopefully existing players get rid of the negative.

NCO can put a serious crimp in stability of income, it makes the whole thing a crap shoot.

Yes I think I do

I have been with them as Casino Coins was closing and quickly put up what I could and when I saw the carry over I e-mailed them and since I don't know everything about their program didn't realize some of their Casinos according to you that don't carry over.

So will just put up the one you mentioned and assume I am correct, as I probably wouldn't know just by looking over their site what is being offered for awhile.

[FONT=arial, sans serif]KK: consider this: Yes they may appear to have lost to you and yours (players) a total of 20k, but isn't it also possible that the NCO wasn't real, and the money the casino is out: is actually money owed to you, (other words earned by you), ... that they didn't want to pay so they doctored the books ...

See what I am saying?

As someone mentioned, (Maybe it was Dave) ... NCO is an efficient way to shave a partner.

Not saying that's the case, but when I think of the times I have played the Rivals, B24 and sister casino in particular, and how, like someone mentioned, poorly I have done when playing those casinos, ... that yes, it is extremely hard to believe the casinos had so many winners that it produced more than one (or maybe two) that had a lifetime record of beating the casino.

.............

I think the origin of this thread was about CCoins replacement/substitute and I don't recall seeing anyone mention crazy slots and that bunch. Personally I don't trust golden palace's integrity but to my knowledge, they're about the only game in town if you want to promote Vegas Tech software.

.......

one last thing, its great to have seen the people that have posted in this thread. I miss you guys (and girls).
