Hi guys,

Now that pandemic is over and economy is not doing well with inflation and supply chains breaking - How are your revenues doing? Do you still grow or started to decline? What do you expect in the next year(s) for affiliate business and gambling business overall?
I see that a lot of big public names started to lose stock price, which is never a good sign.

Thanks

I'm mainly focused on the UK market and I have seen a huge decline in earnings these last 2 years. Its still slipping sadly and Im doing my best to claw it back. I hope things improve this year.

I have noticed Google seems to favour the bigger websites now as appose to us little affiliate sites. Its much tougher to rank than it was back in 2016 when I first started earning in this niche.

I have started to look into other areas outside of the casino niche, they are much less volatile. One such industry I have been testing is real estate. Only local stuff at the moment and its in the EU but so far the rankings have not been effected once with all the Google updates that have been going over last 6-12 months. My casino website is like a YoYo at times with the constant Google updates, sometimes the rankings drop off massively, and even then I get decent traffic spikes at random times, other times the rankings have a decent boost, then the traffic dies... its a crazy world at times in the casino niche, at least on my part.

Exactly. I started 10 years earlier, when I was a minnow in a big pond... now I am a single plankton in the ocean :(

In just a few years, I have noticed a huge drop in terms of "making anything" with so many casinos, no matter of amount of players send to them. When I was on my very top 3-5 years ago, I cud have RS deals generating very nice monthy numbers (€10k+) but nowadays, I have absolutely 0 of them.

I belive the adminfees and shaving has become so aggresive and retroactive terms like "if our new terms dont suite you - feel free to close your affiliate account" are something that we can not see any positive lights on.

I do not mean you can not make money anymore - but there is ton's and ton's of work behind every single earned dollar - thease days, compaired to a few years back when you actually cud calmn down and take an day or two off - from doing this.

MR. G has also become much harder to deal with. Time to Time, Update to Update - Nowadays pure evil sites with stolen and thin content can overrank sites that actually are of value for the visitors.

A bit offtopic but hey - content is king - right =)

It was really well for my business in the last two years since covid started. Many people stayed home and gambled a lot. So i had lots of traffic, but in last 6 months it started going down. I follow gambling and economic news and I see that many gambling companies lost their stock gains, which is starting to reflect on their revenues. Experts talk about upcoming recession and inflation, which makes me think gambling is not the best place to be for most affiliates when ppl experience hardship. So wanted to ask is it just me or is it a widespread decline.

It seems that the whole industry has to change, and as we are. Because nothing new isn't happening now, just more Softswiss, more reviews. As for me, VR will be the next step.

I think that the income in the industry has decreased to some extent since the end of the pandemic, but the situation will remain the same or there will be a slight increase in the coming years

One person said - haters gonna hate... so players gonna play, I guess )
But...
How does an average player behavior changed on 2022 ?
During pandemic there were all these "free money" (most housekeepers became a stock market experts :) ), limited face to face communicastion caused gambling activities increase anr so on...
Now it is probably recession time which of course will change industry rules.

But, players gonna play and affiliates gonna earn
So what deal/rates are preferable in 2022 - 2023 for affiliates to keep on going?

With the pandemic behind us and the challenges of inflation and supply chain disruptions affecting the economy, I'm curious about how your revenues are holding up. Are you still experiencing growth, or have you started to see a decline? What are your expectations for the affiliate business and the gambling industry as a whole in the coming year(s)?

I've noticed that many prominent public companies have been seeing declines in their stock prices, which is always a cause for concern.

2023 was a pretty bad year, However, the last 2 weeks I see revenues/traffic increasing for the first time in a long time, I believe q4 will be a very good month.
