Hi All
I’m opening this thread to warn all Affiliate Programs and Managers about a scam “affiliate” who we had agreed to run a pre-paid CPA campaign with for the tune of $3000 and who has since then disappeared off the face of the earth.
We were first contacted by “Steven Cohen” around the end of December 2011 when he expressed interest in promoting our casino to Gaming opt-in email users of their website http://www.offercafe.com. After some days of negotiating we agreed on a pre-paid test campaign of 20 players at $150 each. Payment was sent and confirmed received at the beginning of January 2012 after which he was sent the mailers that were to be used.
From then on everything went wrong. We started off with excuses after excuse of why the campaign has not been launched, and after a while all communications ceased all together. I have tried getting on contact with “Steve” via email, via Skype, via phone, left various phone voice mail messages on the numbers he had provided and various other methods. Over and above everything, the website www.offercafe.com has been taken offline also.
I’m therefore posting here this scammer’s details so that all other Affiliate Managers and Programs out there do not get taken in the same way we did
